So, this is what I wore to the Issay Miyake show. Dabbling in winter whites and neutral favourites, whilst adding some native touches with my accessories and finished off with an extra splash of texture with this faux fur cape which I scored on sale in Topshop back along.
I hope you like it lovelies,
Ganni Coat - similar Here & another great style Here
One of the reasons I like to hang on to my clothes instead of throwing them out, is because i'm intrigued to see what new ways I can wear them when the time feels right. And the great thing about keeping an outfit diary so to speak, is that in years to come i'll be able to look back and see the different ways I styled a particular piece.
Like this sequin kimono, I bought it from Topshop a few years ago and yes its been ages since I last found a way to style it but teaming it with a classic white shirt, jeans, brogues and my navy scarf feels incredibly modern to me! And not because it's never been done, i'm sure it has but because it's very different to how I was styling it when I first bought the sequinned beauty. So maybe think twice before cleaning out your wardrobe….
Take care lovelies,
(old) Topshop Kimono - different but love this Here
Like a few of us girls do, I often look in the mens department for clothes (mainly classic items) but oddly nothing i'm wearing here in this more androgynous look of mine is mens! Nope its all ladies items.
I also wanted to talk about this shirt that i'm wearing and yes I know you can't see it all that well but i'm excited about sharing it with you anyway. I bought it from MHL. by Margaret Howell a few weeks ago and I know it may not look like anything special but it's the way it feels on, so crisp and well made and also, it's a great classic piece to have in ones wardrobe. Though buying it didn't come easy, I had to ring around a bit but thanks to a helpful shop assistant, I managed to get the last one in store! Yay!
Take care sweeties,
P.s I know a few of you may of already seen this post on Tuesday, but I had only just posted a look with this coat a day or so before. So I changed my mind and swapped it for another post. But for those who didn't get to see it, here it is!
I'm a sucker for wardrobe classics and this beige cable-knit sweater I came across was a perfect and much needed addition my wardrobe. I wore it my favourite striped shirt and my old navy boucle shorts, that also have an oversized fit, though that was an accident back from my early days of ordering online from America. I chose my Zara brogues, as they highlighted and added to the androgynous tones, whilst the olive coloured scarf complimented the autumnal feel that was in the air.
Well, i'm off. Take care and enjoy the rest of your sunday,
p.s If you have the time to heart my look Here that my lovelies would be AWESOME! :D
Even though I have had these pinstripe trousers for a good few seasons, I can't think of a more suiting time to wear them then now. Pinstripes are certainly a firm favourite for this Autumn/Winter and i'm quite happy that I don't have to shop around looking for that perfect pair, though give me the money and these Here would happily be welcomed into my wardrobe!
And what does one do when she finds herself wearing her shirt/dress inside out just as she's about to take her outfit photos? Well, theres not a whole lot she can do out in public (though i'm sure my sister would disagree) all she could do was try an hide the label the best she could and "work it work it" ;D
