what to wear when the world doesn't exist for three hours

Remember those grey days I mentioned? Yep this was one of them!

When meeting up with a friend, i'm always conflicted between wanting to dress pretty and needing to remain comfy, as I know i'm going to be sat down for while, as once we get chatting, that's it, the world doesn't exist for the next three hours. So, this time I settled with simple and relatively comfy wardrobe staples, which seemed to reflect well on the grey day that it was. But thankfully I had my yellow snake print clutch/bag from Warehouse to brighten up my day. There is nothing wrong with adding a touch of colour.

Take care,

When The Wrong Style Recipe Feels So Right

Yes, you think boyfriend jeans paired with socks and sandals seems like a weird idea for an outfit, I mean the socks and sandals combo is confusing enough! But I think we all feel at this time of year, that want and need to break out our favourite sandals and just go for it, regardless of the actual temperature outside. And so this way, it's a practical nod to Spring, which is pretty much on our doorstep. To make boyfriend jeans paired with socks and sandals look their best, keep to classic wardrobe staples. Though I did add my favourite pink metallic cuff and navajo clutch, as I always think it's good to add a personal touch to an outfit like this.

Take care lovelies,

In The Distance

Two things i've worn a lot this winter is my Acne Scarf and these men-inspired trousers, so it only made sense that they came to Paris with me. Keeping to a classic feel, I wore my camel coat and a crisp striped shirt but by adding some interesting details, such as a touch of metallic with my these Cooee bracelets, a hint of print with my shoes and a splash of colour with my furry gilet gave the look a modern edge. Though you can't really see much of the gilet, I like to think of it as a hidden gem. Anyway, this outfit seemed to suit me just fine for capturing some street style on a cold and slightly damp Paris fashion week morning :)

Take care and I hope you are all enjoying your sunday,

Issay Miyake Show: What I Wore

So, this is what I wore to the Issay Miyake show. Dabbling in winter whites and neutral favourites, whilst adding some native touches with my accessories and finished off with an extra splash of texture with this faux fur cape which I scored on sale in Topshop back along.

I hope you like it lovelies,

Inside In Grey

I have to say, I do love my grey's like I love my navy's and blacks. I was very comfortable in this grey on grey look and adding the metallic brogues was a great way to bring a unexpected twist to the look. You wouldn't necessarily have to have metallic shoes, a metallic clutch/bag or a piece of jewellery, even nails would probably do the trick also. For a finishing touch I (surprise surprise) wore my navy Acne scarf, not because i'm addicted to wearing it or anything (cough cough) but because I liked how it subtly broke up all the grey and lets face it rarely can you go wrong with adding a touch of navy!

Take care,
