In terms of my face, i'm relativity happy with how these photos turned out! I had terrible allergies on the day that these photos were taken, I was sneezing non stop, hence the non-fuss outfit. But hey sometimes this is all this girl wants and needs in an outfit. This will likely be my basic, inside all day uniform for this winter. Yay to comforts!
If there an outfit/uniform that you will be reverting to a lot this winter?
Back on a very windy sunday and a potentially a rainy one, I decided wearing my wardrobe basics was the only way to go. This cable-knit sweater, these levi jeans, my beige scarf, and this old but still awesome Topshop bag have been in heavy rotation in the last month or so, all pieces are very easy to combine, so why not wear them all together?! With my military green trench coat that I wore a lot back in the spring and my my old Wangs, which I have to admit i've been wearing a lot again recently, I was ready to head on out. The only problem with the trench is that it's quite light and was catching the wind a lot whilst we were shooting these photos, as was my hair, my freaking hair! It's very fine and so even when it's tied up in a bun, it still manages to find a way to escape and float around like pieces of cheese string, I know reeal nice!
Well, take care lovelies and thank you for reading,

Sometimes it's okay to look like you've walked into your wardrobe blindfolded! I'm kidding, of course I intentionally teamed this mish mash of a look together. Whether you like this look or not I think it's always important to remember when clashing prints and other contrasting pieces, to always ground an outfit with wardrobe staples, like a stripe top, a trench coat or converse and any other classics alike.
Don't get me wrong I love a good all black look, they always look chic, smart and edgy all at the same time but for me I usually end up teaming navy with black or like on this occasion grey and black. If I had my Isabel Marant loafers, that i've been craving for, oh I don't know like…. FOREVER! Then I probably would of worn them but I don't have them yet (she writes with an optimistic tone) and so I took the opportunity to wear my mums leopard print boots. They are so old now but are still in a very good condition and i've wanted to do an outfit with them for ages, they are quite a stand out print and even more so against the dark pallet but I would say it works.
Sorry if the photos look a bit weird, I took them around mid-day and with the sun shining brightly whilst shooting a very dark outfit, the two just didn't mix very well. I've also tried to pick some of my favourite leopard print boot alternatives, that were of a fair price and it was a little bit overwhelming, there are so many amazing leopard print boots out there!
Back on a very rainy day in October, refusing to stay in I decided that me and the boyfriend must go out and get ourselves all cosy in Starbucks and sip away on their latest seasonal hot chocolate, I know we are so original like that. Of course I ended up thinking that my outfit was photo worthy enough to take some photos, the boyfriend thought I was mad because it was raining like crazy and well, these are the sort of days when he ends up becoming grumpy with me and my outfit photo obsession! But I kindly chose a spot where we could both be dry and still get a decent result, see how nice I am…
For me, i've never really had an issue with wearings skirt when it's the raining, especially when i've got my umbrella on me and yes of course there are those days when i'm not so optimistic but I was feeling brave and rather happy that day, so nothing was stopping me. And in my defence at least I chose practical footwear!
Anyway, take care my dears and enjoy the rest of your day,
