Leopard Print Me

Hi lovelies,

Now don't get me wrong I love me a good old chic white on white ensemble and this outfit was very close to becoming one but then I decided to switch it up a bit by adding in this contrasting leopard print sweater, you might of seen it before but I wouldn't be surprised if you hadn't, it's not a piece I wear often but when I do, I never want to take it of and no matter what I always feel good wearing it. A splash of print is always welcome to come and brighten up my day.

When I was putting this outfit together, Stella McCartney's Spring collection was definitely at the forefront of my mind which inspired certain elements of this look and seeing as it was one of favourite Spring collections this year, it was kinda inevitable is was going to happen at some point. I kept the styling minimal and allowed for the contrasting sweater be the main focal point and then finished with some little details that I always find to be quite effective, like a red lip (perfect for lifting a print) and buttoned up shirt (a very chic and on trend detail) .

I hope you all like the look my dears and thank you in advance for any comments. Take care and enjoy your day,

Spring In Whites

Hello lovelies,

This is something I wore a couple of weeks or so ago, the sun was out but a cold wind was still showing us just who's the boss around here!

Winter whites, summer whites and so why not some spring whites?! Well sorta because to be fair I am only wearing one piece of white clothing here, so maybe I should of named this post something different but its done now and come on, we all know how difficult blogpost naming can be at times! So this outfit was all about compromises, I wanted to wear these summer trousers but it was just to cold to wear them with a simple white tee, so I compromised by picking my super thick cable-knit sweater, I wanted to wear sandals so I compromised by wearing my Birkenstocks but with some extra thick socks and then for my finishing touches I wore my Illesteva sunnies and my Ally Capellino bag and yes I would of loved to of left the look like this but with the cold wind I decided to compromise with mother nature by adding in this olive coloured scarf. And that my lovelies, is how I ended up with this sexy ensemble, I don't how the boyfriend restrained himself :D ;)

Anyways, I best be off. Thank you in advance for any comments and take care,

Christmas Day & Boxing Day: Wish I was Wearing

Hiii,

So this is pretty much what I would love to wear on Christmas day, if money were no object of course. Though I do think it's a look thats probably easy enough to replicate to some degree. The dress by The Row just makes my heart skip a beat every time I look at it on Net A Porter. I understand it's probably not everyones cup of tea but to me it's pure classic and chic perfection! I'd team it with a pair of classic low heels like these gorgeous ones by Stella McCartney and then glam up with the most beautiful statement necklace I can find, preferably this Oscar De La Renta one, haha yes now I really am dreaming! Add a touch of No5 to my neck and wrists because Christmas day is special and nothings more special or magical, in my opinion then Chanel No5. Finishing off with a cosy sweater jacket like this one by CLOSED because if you're like me in anyway I like to feel a certain amount of comfort whilst stuffing my face with turkey. Plus I always get a bit chilly and like to feel a little snugly.

For my Boxing day "Wish I was Wearing" look is all about comfort. I don't know what it is about boxing day but I always just want to feel comfy and warm, probably because I am a little tired after the excitement on Christmas eve and the craziness of Christmas day. So jeans are always where I start and I love these ones by MIH, their wash is a little different to lot I have, which I like. I would team them with this perfect long sleeved grey tee by J.Crew, with this amazing heavy-knit cardigan from Etoile by Isabel Marant. Even though it's a new season piece, it's definitely got a nice, cosy Christmasy vibe to me. If I could I would then finish of with these gorgeous boots by Rag & bone, their colour compliments the other pieces perfectly and they are just enough to stop the outfit from becoming to casual.  Boxing Day look,

Thanks and Take care,

Double Row

Hi Lovelies,

This Is another summer ensemble I wore a couple of weeks back on one of the muggiest days I think we have had this year. I wanted to wear something that was loose and airy and with having had this outfit in my mind for a while, I thought this was the perfect day to wear it.

My outfit started of with this unique white top by The Row, I love it's split sides and it's minimal charm and these white trousers that are also by The Row reflected those qualities beautifully and even though they came from different collections, I felt they looked like they were made to be teamed together in this modern and minimal manner.  For my shoes I chose my Camilla Skovgaard sandals, I like the edgy and androgynous tone they added to the outfit, which is why I kept it simple when it came to choosing a bag and just went with my Topshop backpack. I also kept my other accessories to a minimal, with just just my ring, watch and some bracelets, so nothing overshadowed the simplicity of the styling.

Ah, I can not believe we are just a couple of days away from LFW and once again a big thank you to Stedentrips.nl for making it possible for me to attend. I'll be uploading some sneak peek pictures of the lucky pieces coming with me, on Instagram, so be sure to check them out.

Hope you like this outfit. Thank you and Take care,
