Hello,

 

So if any of you own Yellow Trousres, you may just agree with me, that whether it's Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter wearing a pair is always fun fun fun! I find that they can brighten up a cold and grey winters day, echo the brightness of a hot summer sun or simply act as that perfect cheerful piece in the midst of those in-between seasons. 

 

For this look I wanted everything to flow with easy simplicity and styled them with this loose-fit sweater, which I have to say was perfect for the chillier Spring we've had. I wore my metallic Miu Miu shoes because basically, now i've started wearing them I just can't get enough and I like the way they gave the outfit a colour blocking finish. One of the accessories I chose to wear in this outfit is this Topshop necklace that I wore a lot last summer and seeing as you still can't go wrong with a touch of neon and sparkle, I thought, why the hell not?!

Here is a little something I wore about a month ago now, when I went to have lunch with my boyfriend. 

 

I love my snake print shirt by Equipment that I bought in the autumn, it's unexpectedly versatile, which is an important and necessary factor for me when investing in pieces. I love the strong statement it makes when wearing it on it's own but I love it even more when you can just see a hint of it, somehow I find it even more striking, seems to really pull the eye in. I wore the shirt over my Navy Sportmax dress, don't you just love the good-old skirt/dress trick?! Layered my J.Crew long sleeved, olive tee over the top of the shirt and since i've worn this colour combo before, I know how beautifully both colours compliment each other. I threw my Joseph coat over my shoulders, to give the look some structure on top and because I was a little worried that the top of my outfit was beginning to look like a colour chart I added in my charcoal coloured scarf to break it up. I almost went for a black scarf but I think it would of created to much of harsh contrast. 

 

I finished of the look with my trusty pointed boots and my Chanel. I know I said about black being a harsh contrast but the reason why the black bag and boots work is because there is enough distance between the outfit and them. Well I think thats it for now. Hope you enjoy the look :)

Hi everyone, 

 

Just a little photo post for you today. I wanted to renew this Topshop Unique Hawaiian shirt that I had bought years ago. I haven't worn it for a while and I wanted to create a look with the shirt that was reflective on my current sense of style. So I went for a minimal approach whilst incorporating colour. 

 

I chose my SportMax Yellow wide leg trousers as what better way to incorporate colour then by choosing to wear these beauties, their classic shape against the print of this shirt just seemed to take a far more modern approach, which was just what i was going for. I also pulled my hair back in a tight bun to create more minimal effect and for my accessories I stuck to the classic and more streamlined shapes by choosing my Ray Bans and Prada tote bag. Finished of with a touch of pink to my lips. Mission complete!!
