The Sunny Weather That Brings All The Smiles

Outfits

Posted on

Today i'm sharing an outfit that I had taken with me to Paris but unfortunately with missing out on a whole day there, I had some decisions to make regarding my outfit choices haha and well, this one had to make the sacrifice.

But i'm glad I did in a sense because the day I wore this was one of those rare beautiful days. The sun was shining brightly, there was no super cold wind and you could just feel the same delight in everyone that passed by. It's truly remarkable what a bit of sun can bring out in people especially after  enduring some very cold, wet and windy weeks. It felt like Spring was in the air and what better way to mirror that feeling, sartorially speaking, then to wear this beautiful floral coat?! I mean, come on, to me it just seems to evoke Spring in every possible way.

Take care,

In Hindsight I'm glad It Happened

So you might remember me telling you all about when my camera battery died when I was in the middle of shooting my outfit pictures? Well, in hindsight i'm kind of glad that it did because it gave the incentive to go back to the Palais de Tokyo the next day to try again with a different outfit. The building and surrounds are beautiful and I think I would take my photos there everyday if I could.

I wore my furry cape again and this time I styled it over some textured layers with my favourite pair of cut-off jeans and my brown Acne boots for a slightly more casual feel. I tied up my navajo clutch to my old fringed bag, an easy yet creative way to lend the two older pieces a fresh and unique feel.

Well, that's all for today! Take care lovelies,

Old Faces, I Must Confess..

Outfits

A few weeks ago when the weather was still cold, I wore this outfit that i'm sharing with you today. And I know you are probably board with seeing winter outfits and just feel the need to be inspired by spring wear but i've still got a few winter looks that I want to share with you. I don't know, maybe if you are inspired by the look at all, then you could always Pin or save it for next winter ;)

It's been ages since I last worn this old grey printed tank top, I wore it non stop when I first bought it all those years ago and probably because it's very easy and comfy to wear, though I must confess I still don't know who the people are? Shameful, I know! Also, once again I can't believe how much i've worn this shaggy coat of mine! Beginning of winter and i'm never that bothered about wearing the snuggly love of mine but it always seems to be a second skin come January/February.

Well, Take care lovelies,

Firstly, i'm sorry that the quality of these photos aren't that great, shooting inside, i'm finding to be a little bit hit and miss. I've had this vintage jacket for years now and i've only ever worn it once or twice but finally I was inspired to once again style and wear this velvet piece.

Take care,

Fringe & Furry

It be would hard to believe that a storm hit not all that long after taking these photos but it did, so we were really quite lucky to get these sunny shots when we did.

It's been a very long time since i've worn this fringed bag of mine, which was bought from Topshop years ago and I remember wearing it non stop, as at the time I was super into tanned leather bags. Anyway a few years on it's back but rather then over the shoulder, i'm using it as a clutch giving it a slightly more relaxed and slouchier feel. I loved the textured look it created being paired with my super fluffy fury vest. Dressing for the crazy weather these last few weeks, has certainly been no easy task.

Take care lovelies,
