Hey hey,

I wanted to show you my sisters outfit she wore back along. Please excuse the photos, I know they aren't my best, they were taken in a bit of rush and when the sun was still high in the sky, which I always find tricky. I received some really great comments on her last outfit, so I thought i'd put together another post for you all.

I hope you like this look to and I look forward to reading your comments. Take care,

Modern Prep

Outfits

Hi everyone,

I don't know if remember this dress from the time I wore and posted it on the blog before (here) or if you remember me saying that there was another way I had intended on styling it first? Well this is it, this is the outfit that I had wanted to wear ever since I first tried this Topshop Boutique dress on.

I call this look modern prep as there are details that are reminiscent of a preppy look but there are also proportions and aspects that are slightly more modern and minimal or at least thats what I think. This was a great sweater to pick as I love how the classic navy looks against the on trend neon and the length that the sweater falls at was perfect, creating the right balance with the length of the dress. I wore my Stella McCartney sandals (probably for the last time this year :( ) as they took a more modern and minimal approach whilst also adding a subtle touch of colour.

I also tried to keep hair and accessories fairly classic and simple to keep the focus point on the outfit itself.

Anyway sweet things, have a great week and thank you for any lovely comments!

Take care,

A Little Bit Of Everything

Hey lovelies,

So here is another scheduled post for you all. Another outfit I wore on the warmer days. I really wanted to wear this Topshop boutique skirt that was a gift from my mum at Christmas time and this is definitely a piece I would normally only tend to wear in the winter but I wanted think outside my little box and style it in a way that was appropriate for summer also. So with that in my mind I went with prints and colours as I felt this had a more unexpected approach to styling this skirt.

I started of with my striped top from Topshop for a bold print which I then clashed with with this polka dot mustard coloured scarf (borrowed from my mummy) and my Marni polka dot flats, which worked in well with my neon pink bracelet also by Marni and the brighter lip colour I was sporting that day. As there was a lot going on I needed to pull it all together so I grabbed my boyfriends leather belt, as it's size and colour was a perfect match. I simply finished of with my Chanel bag: Note wearing your shoulder bag across your body, gives of such an effortless and chic approach whilst giving off that "i'm so cool and don't really care" when really you do. You probably all know this but just incase ;)

Anyway hope you enjoy this look. Thanks lovelies and take care,

Give The Girl Some Edge

Outfits

Hi Lovelies,

This is just a little outfit I put together, the pieces are all fairly old but it's always fun reworking some older pieces.  I was in the mood for something a little more feminine then usual but hey if thats what I was feeling then thats what I was going to do.

So for this girly look, I didn't want to just go straight for pastels or anything to fru fru as the are other ways to incorporate girly-chic into a look. So I went with my Topshop polka dot skirt, its flirty shape and length was perfect for giving a nod to girly-chic. I also wore my blue lace top from Warehouse that I bought last November for my sisters birthday and I don't think I have worn it since, I layered it over a nude tee as it's quite a see-through piece and not that, that bothers me but I just thought the nude complimented the blue really nicely. To me the lace top is quite a feminine piece with "ladylike" tones and along with my very old, nude kitten heels I felt that it gave a slightly more grown up approach to styling this girly skirt.

My accessories mainly consisted of edgier pieces to contrast the delicate side of the look. Skull rings, spikes and arm party pieces was the way to go and yes because they are all so COOL!

Okay thats all my chic friends. Thank you and Take care,

Hi everyone, here are some photos of an outfit i wore back when summer decided to show up for a couple of days.

The outfit was quite simple really, I found this white skirt that my mum gave me at the end of last summer. Its very light and easy to wear and i just styled it with the chunky grey cardigan that I bought from Topman back in the winter sales. I also my wore my Pedro Garcia wedges because even though they are quite a simple wedge they actually in my opinion make quite a chic statement.

I also wore my HUGE bag from Zara as i thought the tanned colour complimented and lifted the grey colour of the cardigan. I also just added some simple olive green beads and my Ray Bans.

Hope you all like this look. Thank you and Take care,Daniella xox
