Cape Coat

I'd been waiting for the opportunity to wear my new Labase coat and trousers that W Concept sent me a couple of weeks ago but the horrid weather had prevented me from doing so. But last Sunday that changed and finally it was a beautiful sunny day. I mean, I would of settled for it just being dry but we got extra lucky.

Classic clothes have always been close to my heart. Classic items never fail in making me feel confident and we all know confidence is key, yes I also love playing with modern designs and often try to push my own sartorial boundaries but classic-chic styles are part of me, like I assume they are for many ladies. Some may call it old fashioned but I would call it timeless style. I can't imagine anything i'm wearing here to look unflattering on anyone. I must say that these trousers are so so comfortable, I can see my self wearing them a lot!

Take care lovelies,

Hello everyone,

So I thought it was about time I started showing you my LFW looks. Here is what I wore on my first day in London, it was a last minute decision to wear this outfit, which made me a bit anxious but I liked the result and especially so as I finally got to wear these Asos checked trousers, which I have had for ages now.

I styled them with my Eskander checked shirt for print on print styling, something that I always enjoy doing but decided to keep that touch very subtle by wearing my navy knit from Cos over the top, as it complimented the colours of my shirt and trousers perfectly. I chose to wear my very old white pointy shoes, as ya know we are all loving a bit of the white shoe at the moment! Even though I loveeeee heels, I don't actually have very good balance when it comes to walking in them (apart from heeled boots) I feel like I must look look a little girl trying her mums heels on for the first time! Plus I feel I can enjoy myself a lot more when I am wearing a shoe thats comfier and easier to trot around in, so for the rest of the time spent in London (apart from one evening event) I wore flats but that's not say they can't look just as chic.

As I clearly do not have the luxury of having a private car to take me from place to place and with knowing that I would be outside a lot trying to capture some street style, I had to be wise and keep myself nice and warm, so I chose to wear my Cheap Monday grey coat with my Oska cape layered over the top. I really love the strong splash of colour it bought to the outfit, really lifting the darker tones. I finished of with what appeared to be a LFW must have, The Beanie! Also my Ray Bans, Alexander Mqueen ring and Prada bag. :)

Well thats all for now, looks from day 2 and 3 from my LFW trip will soon follow! Thank you lovelies and take care,

Hiii

So I had been wanting create a suit look for ages now, the only problem was I didn't and still don't have a two piece suit in my wardrobe and even though there have been so many suits available to buy that I loved, for some reason I just never bought one, something I hope to do soon.

So I instead teamed together my old black blazer and black cropped trousers, which I would say just about passed for looking like a two piece suit. Now I didn't want the look to become to suited and booted and so for a top I chose a fairly casual navy knit, I as well wore my platform brogues as they always add a classic yet quirky touch to an outfit, which was exactly what I wanted for this look. I of course needed some extra warmth and knew my navy varsity jacket and beanie would give me that but in a manner that was somewhat unexpected and as well adding a sporty-chic tone .

I hope you like this look and i'll be back on Tuesday with an outfit post from one of my LFW looks. Thank you lots and lots,

So hows everyone enjoying their sunday?

Here is an outfit I wore on a particularly cold day a couple of weeks back, when I had to run some errands, which included renewing my passport, something I don't want to do again for a long time, it was beyond stressful! When it came to this outfit, comfort and warmth was something I had to keep in mind but of course I still had to try my best to keep my outfit looking somewhat chic.

Once again leather leggings were my typical choice accompanied by other winter musts, such as my furry hooded coat, my LV leopard print scarf and my UGG ear muffs. I also wore my super soft beige knit by Miu Miu, stupid amount of money for a top but if I were to be honest that wouldn't stop me buying one in every colour because they are just perfect in every way. The knit is quite short in length and we all know leggings are from flattering if the top part of your bottom half is not covered, so I just slipped a simple white tank underneath to sort out that little issue. I was very close to wearing my Acne pistols and they would of undoubtedly been perfect and certainly fail-safe but Instead went with my grenson platform brogues as they are just as comfy and I liked the preppy twist they gave.

Well folks, i'm off now and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. Thank you and take care,

Hello lovelies,

I hope you are all enjoying your week so far. Here is an outfit I wore a couple of sundays ago, it was very very cold out and me and the boyfriend were heading into town to check out a new coffee shop, normally we are to only be found in starbucks on a sunday afternoon but it's nice to try something new and as it turned out, we really enjoyed it there. It was cosy, had a big drink selection and a wonderful choice of yummy treats, perfect!

Anyway I realised I still hadn't worn this padded sweater by Acne, you know, with being so poorly over and after Christmas. So with the weather being so cold I thought it was the perfect time to finally wear it and well lets face it, nothing beats that fresh out the box feeling. When styling it I had androgyny in mind and of course the chillier weather and decided to wear it with some rolled up jeans, a pair of navy ankle socks and some mens inspired brogues. Of course my grey oversized coat was a must, as it gave that extra androgynous feel. I then finished of by adding in some feminine pieces, such as my ladylike Prada tote and this very old pink scarf of mine.

I kept my hair tied back, though I definitely came to quickly regret that one, as my ears almost froze over and then came to realise that I had stupidly forgot my earmuffs, silly girl, I know! Before I leave, I must apologies for my FACE in these pictures for some reason I look so grumpy! I don't know why, as I was quite chirpy that day, oh well, who knows what it was!

Well I hope you like. Thank you, take care and enjoy the rest of your day,
