Sleeveless

Hello,

So I don't know if you recognise this vest jacket that i'm wearing? It's the Kaylee Cho piece I showed you in an outfit post a couple of weeks back, you can see it Here. Though this time i'm wearing it open and without a jacket over the top. Everything else i'm wearing is pretty old, so it's always nice to give a little update with a newer piece.

The trousers i'm wearing are probably the oldest in terms of this look and it seems I always end up wearing them with heels, I think because they sit higher on the waist and when teamed with some high heels they give an illusion of making me looking taller then my actual 5'3 maybe 5'4 at a push ;) hight but next time I would like to pair them with some flat sandals, just for something different. The day I wore this, I was really in the mood for some over accessorising, as it had felt like ages since I last did an ultimate pile up of necklaces, so i'm glad they've finally made a comeback. I'm also quite into teaming my Cooee clear bracelet with this old wooden bangle of mine, it creates an interesting modern meets earthy vibe. Anyway I guess i'm talking a little more about my accessories today because I feel it was these touches that really made this look.

But anyway, what do you think? I look forward to reading your comments!

Thank you lovelies and take care,

Daniella xox

Coconut Shells & A Geometric Print

Hello,

How was your weekend?

Back when I bought this skirt in the Autumn of last year I remember thinking, that I would love to style it with a crisp white shirt and some summer sandals and now here I am, finally wearing just that! I added in a long sleeved top as it wasn't warm enough at the time to wear the shirt on it's own and it was a nice change to a jacket, of course I purposely picked this olive green colour to give the white shirt a lift and to compliment the luxe colours and print of my skirt.

And if you're are wondering where the coconut shells are, well, they are hanging around my neck! This necklace was originally bought by my mum when she was on her honeymoon in Antigua many years ago and she was going to throw it out, I know the woman is crazy with what she throws out, I'm always  like "whoa whoa whoa now, just hang on a tiny little minute" demanding that I rescue the helpless little accessory!

I thought it had been a while since I last sported this burgundy Marc by Marc Jacobs bag of mine, at first I wasn't sure if it worked but in the end I just went with it and I love how it turned out. And no the hairband is not something I'm attempting to make cool, the little sucker somehow found his way into the photos and with the boyfriend probably forever thinking that i've probably put it there on purpose because that's "The Look" I really had no hope!

Well lovelies, I know it's a long one today but for those who have, thanks for reading! Take care,

Pepe, Me And Fashiolista

Hello lovelies,

Today I want to share this look with you, it's for a competition that i'm a part of with 14 other bloggers. Together with Pepe Jeans and Fashiolista, we've styled our looks using some selected pieces from Pepe Jeans. So if you like the look and want to be in with a chance of winning a prize yourself, Vote for me HERE.

For my Pepe look I chose this dark wash denim jacket, i've been on the hunt for one since last summer and i've always been a sucker for dark denim, so it just made sense. I also chose this white cotton top because tops like this are perfect for when the temperature rises but for now whilst it's still a little chilly, I layered it over the denim jacket. I also came across this slim black belt, I really like the tarnished silver effect of the buckle, great detail for any look. To really bring out the contrast of the crisp white top against the dark denim I borrowed my sister's rich toffee coloured chinos, the material also complimenting the casual tone of this little ensemble.

I would say with an outfit like this, a summer sandal is preferably my best bet, as a boot could potentially look a little themed, so I chose these good old wedges of mine, they gave me hight and bought a feminine subtlety to the look. I add in some touches of colour and I was ready to boogie!

Take care,

Daniella xox

A Day In The Park: Ft The Ramones Tee

Hi everyone,

This is What I wore when me and my family decided to take a trip to the park for a yummy picnic and to simply relax one sunny sunday afternoon.

I wanted to feel comfy so I went for a more relaxed outfit and what's more comfy then pyjama-esque style trousers?! So I stuck with these gorgeous Suno trousers, their luxe vibe keeps me from not looking to dressed down but their relaxed fit stops me from feeling to uncomfortable for an afternoon at the park. I stole/borrowed my boyfriend Ramones tee, for a more 90s-grunge take on these trousers.

Accessories included my Alexander Mqueen wrap around bracelet, Armani watch, Ysl ring and a couple of beaded bracelets. I'm going to upload some more pictures from that day tomorrow so don't forget to stop by and check them out.

Thank you my lovelies for reading and I hope you like the look,

Hilo

Hi everyone,

Here i am wearing my beautiful Paul & Joe dress once again. Honestly I am finding it so versatile considering it actually verges on being a maxi dress. The last time i wore it I tied it up in a knot and wore it as a top (you can see it here) and once again I decided to still carry on wearing it as a top but this time giving it a Hilo effect. The reason I haven't worn it in it's proper form yet is simply because of the crapy weather, it's made of very light material and it needs to be at least warm to make an attempt at wearing it.

So as it was Sunday I wanted to try and give the look a slight casual twist so I wore my skinny jeans and then my Pedro Garcia wedges to give me some hight. I wore my Ally Capellino canvas bag as it looked pretty with the top the i last time i wore it and because it's a great casual bag.

I really hope you all like this look. Thank you and Take care,
