Hello everyone, 

 

So I thought it was about time I started showing you my LFW looks. Here is what I wore on my first day in London, it was a last minute decision to wear this outfit, which made me a bit anxious but I liked the result and especially so as I finally got to wear these Asos checked trousers, which I have had for ages now. 

 

I styled them with my Eskander checked shirt for print on print styling, something that I always enjoy doing but decided to keep that touch very subtle by wearing my navy knit from Cos over the top, as it complimented the colours of my shirt and trousers perfectly. I chose to wear my very old white pointy shoes, as ya know we are all loving a bit of the white shoe at the moment! Even though I loveeeee heels, I don't actually have very good balance when it comes to walking in them (apart from heeled boots) I feel like I must look look a little girl trying her mums heels on for the first time! Plus I feel I can enjoy myself a lot more when I am wearing a shoe thats comfier and easier to trot around in, so for the rest of the time spent in London (apart from one evening event) I wore flats but that's not say they can't look just as chic. 

 

As I clearly do not have the luxury of having a private car to take me from place to place and with knowing that I would be outside a lot trying to capture some street style, I had to be wise and keep myself nice and warm, so I chose to wear my Cheap Monday grey coat with my Oska cape layered over the top. I really love the strong splash of colour it bought to the outfit, really lifting the darker tones. I finished of with what appeared to be a LFW must have, The Beanie! Also my Ray Bans, Alexander Mqueen ring and Prada bag. :)

Hi lovelies,

 

Here is an outfit I wore a few weeks back, before the snow arrived. Now I think it was only last week where I did an outfit post, where I once again wore my white mini skirt by Acne and I would say that like the time before that my approach to styling it was definitely a minimal one. So this time I wanted to style it a little differently to those previous times. 

 

I styled the skirt over my old Sass & bide "black rats" leggings to not only create a fairly harsh contrast but to also still highlight and evoke those minimal qualities that the skirt has. I chose to wear my Miu Miu patent black boots as I like the continuation effect it creates when worn with these leggings, plus I find them a handy boot for the colder weather. To then build and create more layers I wore my Oska cape/coat over my old K Karl Largerfeld boucle jacket, the mix of textures and colours created a certain amount of intrigue and depth, something I personally love in an outfit. I decided to keep my hair minimal, as with it being so stupidly long, I think it would of just been to much along with everything else that was going on within the look and then finished of the outfit with just some classic accessories. 

 

Well I think thats all, I don't know why I have this obsession with covering every last detail but the fact is I do, well at least for now I do but of course I never expect for you all to read my ramblings, though of course I am grateful to all that do :)

Hello, 

 

Ah it felt so good to get out this Oska cape/sleeveless coat once again. It's one of favourite pieces I own and I can't tell you how perfect it is for transeasonal weather, love it truly! 

 

 

I always love to team this cape/coat with either colour and print or unexpected proportions and this time it was all about the colour and print. It started of with this old Topshop Ikat print dress of mine, it's really a summer dress because of it's light material but I thought for the beginning of Autumn and if styled correctly then it would fine. To create some print play I added in this striped belt (borrowed from mummy) I like that the colours are the same as the dress which created a more subtle approach to the print play. I wore my long grey cardigan from Cos to build layers suitable for Autumn weather, finished of with this cape/coat. 

 

To add more colour I wore my navy KG boots and teamed them with these mink coloured socks, which I feel added to that layered effect. I also wore my Ally Capellino bag for another splash of colour and that was that. I kept my jewellery to a minimal as this look just didn't need much more, though I did add a sneaky statement necklace, not that you can see it under all that bloody hair.
