Leather Leather

Hi everyone,

Here is something I wore a few weeks back. It was a very cold and wet day which many of you would probably agree leaves you ( I ) completely uninspired! In the end I decided to stick with some winter basics of mine.

I started off with what feels like my uniform of the winter season - my leather trousers and pointy KG Kurt Geiger boots! This combination has definitely proven to be fail-safe, which makes it a perfect solution on days such as this. I wore my thick cream cable-knit sweater with a white shirt underneath, just to add some preppy-chic detailing to the outfit and I also decided to wear this leather skirt of mine as I felt it put just enough of a twist on the look to satisfy my stylistic needs. Luckily we found a spot that was undercover where we could take some photos, which allowed me to take my coat off and add in my Illesteva sunnies.

I hope you like this look my lovelies. Thank you and take care,

Daniella xox

Meow,

My love for navy and black has never been a secret here on my blog, so I guess this outfit I wore a few weeks ago isn't going to come as huge surprise.

I am also loving oversized and slouchy sweaters, so I decided to team this Topshop boutique favourite of mine from last year with another favourite, this Oasis leather skirt. Perfect i'd say for combining two style loves of mine. There is something about this skirt that makes me love it for transeasonal wear, it's fine for the winter to but I just prefer a leather skirt to be worn without tights. You are also getting to see for the first time (I think) these amazing Kg Kurt geiger boots. I bought them over a month ago now and I love them so much and just couldn't wait to wear them. Their timeless colour and style makes them difficult not to wear them with everything, which you will come to see and understand in my upcoming outfit posts. I finished of the look with my old but trusty grey coat by Cheap Monday, that I had for Christmas about 3 or 4 years ago and of course added in my chain bracelet, boyfriends watch and Ray bans.

Well I hope you all dig this look!! Thankssss and take care,

p.s

I hope the photo quality isn't to bad but I am having a lot of problems when I am saving them for the web in photoshop. They are loosing a lot of the colour saturation which is very annoying and it seems to be mainly on darker outfits i've shot. So if any one knows anything about how to solve this problem of mine, i'm all ears.

Leather & Lime

Hii everyone,

I can't believe we are so close we are getting to December! Really looking forward to Christmas though.

I have to say after years of only really wearing ankle boots, it really dose feel so refreshing to wear a pair of knee highs. You might remember them from this post that was on my blog not so long ago.

With this outfit there were definitely aspects which were inspired by the some of the Proenza Schouler SS13 looks and why? well because ya know just INCREDIBLE that collection is. So I started of with this fuller leather skirt by Oasis which I normally belt up higher as I don't really like the length it falls at but this time it felt right to just let hang naturally as it worked better at this length with the higher boots. I also wore this Topshop green top once again, it has this great sporty appeal which works well in contrast to the more classic and tailored pieces. And as well as adding  a certain modern twist. I layered it over this navy turtleneck for extra warmth and because I loved how the peeps of navy looked against the eye catching colour and the intriguing print of the green top, really lifting the navy even if there are only glimpses of it showing.

I added in some edgier accessories and then in contrast to that and to also lift the more ladylike tones I wore my Prada tote.

Okay okay enough chitter chatter, I get it! Well I hope you like this look. Lots love to you all,

Andersons Stripes

Hi Lovelies,

How is everyone? This is something I wore a little while ago. Looking at certain elements of this look kinda reminds me of a school girl, or maybe preppy would be a far chicer term to use. Wearing this leather skirt that I bought last year from Oasis makes me appreciate how perfect a leather skirt is for transeasonal wear, don't you agree?

I teamed the leather skirt with this JW Anderson for Topshop striped tee that I was lucky enough to receive when I went to preview the collection. I wore it with this Cos A-line shirt underneath as I love how these shaped sleeves looked coming through the sleeves of the tee, it also created fun length play, whilst also giving off a smart/casual effect. Keeping that smart/casual balance I once again wore my See By Chloe vest, It bought together all the different styles with a more minimal and streamlined approach.

When it came to choosing a bag I was stuck between my Prada tote and this Marc by marc jacobs burgundy bag and after a while of deciphering with my mum we agreed that the splash or burgundy was far more intriguing and slightly unexpected, so that was that. Ah and then it came to the shoes and it was a choice between these Wangs and.. these Wangs.

Well thats all folks. Hope you like this look. Thank you lots and lots and take care,

Mid Length Blue

Hi everyone,

This is one of those outfits that was put together on whim, which is not normally how I work when it comes to creating outfits but luckily it ended up working and I was really quite happy with the result. See I had wanted to make sure I wore this amazing and very beautiful Karen Walker skirt this summer as I bought it back in the winter and also wore it then but the design to me comes across wearable for every season so I want to make sure I take full advantage of that, next will be styling it for autumn.

So for this outfit as you can see I just styled it with a very simple white tee as it was very very warm that day and other pieces needed to be kept to a minimal. I also wore my Camilla Skovgaard sandals (again) to pick up the edgy tones of this skirt, for instance the black leather panel. I also added in a brown leather belt and my/my mums neutral clutch as these colours complimented the more earthy tones of this skirt. To finish of I wore Topshop necklace, it just needed that touch or so I felt.

Anyway my lovelies I hope you like this look. Thank you and lots of love,
