With spring on our doorstep and summer hopefully not in the far distance, new sandals have definitely been at forefront of my mind. Don't get me wrong, i'm still going to be best buds with my Birkenstocks but I also like the idea of a good quality, simple and classic style of sandal. I really like the Marni ones (above) they are the perfect colour of brown and the contrasting strap and the white piping just seems to add to their chicness.
I know I know, sandals… really?! But these outfit photos were taken a while ago now, not that I have to justify myself to anyone but I just thought i'd say.
Just a simple look with the boyfriends sweater (of course) and my old cream trousers by Sandro, that I pinned up in order to make them cropped, which is kinda obvious I know but it still created the look I wanted to achieve. To set the outfit off I just added my wide brim hat and Chanel bag, for an easy-chic, comfy and classic combo.
And hey, can you believe we are at the end of October already?! I still have a few outfits to show you from earlier this month, i'll try and get them uploaded next week. Also are you doing anything for halloween? We're broke and all unwell with a horrible cold so keeping things to a minimum. My sister, my mum and I might watch a classic horror film tonight, possibly make some toffee apples and carve a pumpkin (if we can find one last minute).
Take care lovelies and have a Happy/spooky Halloween ,
Here is something I wore not to long before all the fashion week stuff started. A good transitional look to take me from summer to Autumn, bare legs with sandals on the bottom and two layered vests on top. I belted the green vest in order to make into a dress and then added my See by Chloe one on top, which is more of an autumn/winter piece, so it was perfect for adding and creating a little more texture and depth to the outfit. It was a fairly grey day, so I added some colour with my accessories, which in turn gave the look the right amount of lift.
Hi lovelies, this is what I wore to a Christening over a month ago now and I haven't been to a Christening since I was about five years old but I figured dress code should be slightly similar to that of a wedding guest but slightly more toned down.
So I wore this beautifully printed dress, that I bought from Jaeger a few years ago, you might of seen it in a couple of outfit posts already but styled as tunic over trousers. I kept things a little more ladylike for this occasion with just a classic navy cardigan, a vintage bag and my Marni Sandals. I wasn't sure if we would have time to get photos done but luckily we did and I took advantage of the pretty church to take a few snaps. I don't know if i've ever posted any pictures of boyfriend and I together but seeing as he was looking smart as apposed to his usual jogger and hoodie attire (don't worry I love him anyway) I thought i'd take the opportunity.
