Lazy Colour

Outfits

Posted on

When I wore this, I wasn't feeling so good, as you can probably tell from my pale skin and my can't be bothered hair. And so, comfy was definitely a word that sprung to mind, when I was getting dressed that day (though to be fair comfy is a word that usually springs to mind regardless)

Jogger trousers like these are perfect for those days, they are very comfy and yet still look relatively smart. These platform brogues also reflect those qualities. An orange loose fitting knit, to brighten things up and because I always love how orange and grey look together, I think the two colours compliment very well. I finished off with light yet warm jacket and then my go-to navy scarf. The scarf is just to damn cosy to resist, I can't bare of the thought of being parted with it once summer hits! Though, maybe i'll use it as shawl to keep the chill off on the beautiful summer evenings we have to look forward to.

Take care,

Doggies & Denim

Double denim and clearly in the mood for monochromatic blue. I don't know if you can tell but the sweater i'm am wearing is also blue, navy blue in fact but for some reason it came out looking really dark in the pictures. I love wearing this Acne sweater during the Spring, it has a lot of padding and so it keeps me really warm, so much so, I don't have to wear a coat or jacket.

Whenever I am shooting inside, our doggies always love to get involved, usually I shoo them away but this time I let them in on it.

Take care lovelies,

what to wear when the world doesn't exist for three hours

Remember those grey days I mentioned? Yep this was one of them!

When meeting up with a friend, i'm always conflicted between wanting to dress pretty and needing to remain comfy, as I know i'm going to be sat down for while, as once we get chatting, that's it, the world doesn't exist for the next three hours. So, this time I settled with simple and relatively comfy wardrobe staples, which seemed to reflect well on the grey day that it was. But thankfully I had my yellow snake print clutch/bag from Warehouse to brighten up my day. There is nothing wrong with adding a touch of colour.

Inspiration: Destination Relax

So, I might not have any plans to take a trip any time soon but I firmly believe that you never know what tomorrow will bring! It also doesn't stop me from navigating my way through Pinterest to get my tropical fix! Do any of you have any holiday/vacation plans yet?

If you are still undecided, then please bare in mind this awesome opportunity Here! My Wardrobe alerted me to the fact, that they are giving away a free flight voucher to one of ten European destinations when you spend a £100 or more! Not bad huh?! Though it is for UK customers only, I know I know but still I thought i'd mention it. Click Here to find out more and click Here for Terms & Conditions

Anyway, that's all for today. Take care,

It May Be Old But It's Still Doing The Trick

We have two kind of weather days going on right now, example one: Cold, grey with the odd drizzle and example two: Sunny, dry, warm and positively Spring like. Obviously this outfit was worn on the latter and what better way to get in the mood for spring, (apart from florals) then to wear white on white.

I think with any monochromatic look, the finer details are what can make or break the outfit and in this case I added some of my favourite silver jewellery along with a neutral neck scarf and snake print clutch to subtly break up all the white. Also you can't beat introducing some texture in to a monochromatic outfit, yes i'm talking about my fringed cardigan, which is years old now but still perfectly doing the trick.

Take care,
