A Camel In The Park

Hello,

Here is an outfit that I wore around Easter time, we were experiencing some pretty cold weather and I was just about ready to give up and trow on the comfiest and cosiest clothes I own! But then something crazy happened, the sun decided to grace us with it's presence, which in turn gave me the incentive to put something nice on and venture out to enjoy the sun, because you never know how long that will last here in the UK.

I decided the only way to go in terms of dressing was to do what I think all us ladies do when inspiration is low, which is go back to basics! Classics such as a camel coat, a white blouse and some skinny jeans creates the perfect base before adding in some personal touches, which were for me - this lime green scarf, some burgundy socks (jeans rolled up, so the socks are on show) and these navy boots, which always find themselves included in my transeasonal looks. What I love about a combination such as this, is that it's been interpreted so many times by so many different woman and in my opinion that doesn't make it common, it proves that it stands the test of time in all it's classic and chic glory, so hooray for the camel coat, the skinny jeans and the perfect white blouse!

Even though I put this post together a few days ago I had to add in the great sadness I feel for what has happened and is still happening in Boston right now. When will it stop?! My prayers and thoughts go out to everyone that has been effected by this.

Take care,

Daniella xox

Throw A Scarf On It

Hi lovelies,

Hope everyone is doing well. This is something  I wore a little while ago when I had myself a little cinema date with the boyfriend.

My outfit obviously had to be pretty comfy and with already being in a fairly simplistic mood, it didn't take me to long to realise that this Acne sweater and I should be the best of friends for the day! I wore it with these white trousers that I've had for ages now but haven't worn before as theres something about the way they fit that i'm really not keen on but I'll hand it to them as they did seem to do the job for this look, so there might just be some hope for them yet! My leather jacket, a thick-knit scarf and my pointy boots were some easy go-to pieces that completed the look, as well as some modern yet minimal accessories such as my Cooee bracelet and Illesteva Sunnies.

Hoping you like this look my lovelies. Thank you and have an awesome day,

Daniella xox

p.s Thank you for all your well wishes for my nephew, your supports mean a lot. He is now home from hospital but still quite poorly.

Leather Leather

Hi everyone,

Here is something I wore a few weeks back. It was a very cold and wet day which many of you would probably agree leaves you ( I ) completely uninspired! In the end I decided to stick with some winter basics of mine.

I started off with what feels like my uniform of the winter season - my leather trousers and pointy KG Kurt Geiger boots! This combination has definitely proven to be fail-safe, which makes it a perfect solution on days such as this. I wore my thick cream cable-knit sweater with a white shirt underneath, just to add some preppy-chic detailing to the outfit and I also decided to wear this leather skirt of mine as I felt it put just enough of a twist on the look to satisfy my stylistic needs. Luckily we found a spot that was undercover where we could take some photos, which allowed me to take my coat off and add in my Illesteva sunnies.

I hope you like this look my lovelies. Thank you and take care,

Daniella xox

Double Leather

Hello,

Here is something I wore back before PFW and even before LFW, it was on a truly freezing cold day, you know when the wind is bitterly cold and bites away at your hands.

So this outfit is an outfit I had actually styled and wanted to wear last winter but because I was missing a few finishing touches such as a perfect pair of black pointy boots and a cool beanie I decided I would be patient and wait until this winter, when I would hopefully have the pieces I was looking for. So as you can see I did find those perfect black boots and well regardless to the fact I got this beanie hat in a camping/outdoors shop, it's still perfect in my eyes and so I am glad I waited it out because I don't think the look would of been the same without my finishing touches.

I wore a navy polo-neck with a classic blue shirt and then borrowed my boyfriends brown leather belt to belt up this trench-style leather jacket. Of course I had to do a bit of leather on leather styling, I think it's the perfect winter replacement for double denim, ah it's been ages since i've done a double denim look! I wore my my parka, Ray Bans and a beanie to give the outfit a slightly more casual/urban spin and added in my beaded necklace for some unexpected splash of colour.

Well Y'all I think that's it for now, i'll be back next week with some PFW posts!!!! Thanks lovelies and take care,

Daniella xox

Leather & Geo

Hi everyone,

Here is another outfit post for you, whilst I am hopefully lapping it up in London and I say hopefully as this is a scheduled post and I don't want to temp fate as I write this.

So I don't know if you remember this printed skirt from an outfit post I did a few months ago but here I am wearing it again. I had had this outfit in my mind way back from when I first bought the skirt but didn't wear it as it wasn't cold enough at the time. I've loved wearing skirts over trousers for the last year now and surprisingly I'm still not bored of it, so I thought why stop now?!  So wearing this skirt over my leather leggings was not only ideal for keeping me warm whilst sporting a high spilt skirt in the middle of winter but I also loved the depth that the mesmerising print and leather created when teamed together. I wore my Cos navy knit once again with my Cos puffer jacket as not only was this a mega warm combo and my favourite colour combo but it also ensured the skirt really popped this time around. I finished of with my favourites from this season, my KG Kurt Geiger boots and my good old classic Chanel bag and Ray Ban sunnies. Oh and I also added in my YSL Ring, thought it had been a while..

Well Hope everyone is well. Thank you lovelies and take care,
