In Hindsight I'm glad It Happened

Outfits

So you might remember me telling you all about when my camera battery died when I was in the middle of shooting my outfit pictures? Well, in hindsight i'm kind of glad that it did because it gave the incentive to go back to the Palais de Tokyo the next day to try again with a different outfit. The building and surrounds are beautiful and I think I would take my photos there everyday if I could.

I wore my furry cape again and this time I styled it over some textured layers with my favourite pair of cut-off jeans and my brown Acne boots for a slightly more casual feel. I tied up my navajo clutch to my old fringed bag, an easy yet creative way to lend the two older pieces a fresh and unique feel.

Well, that's all for today! Take care lovelies,

Country Roads

Before Paris fashion week the boyfriend and I went to have a family meal in celebration for his and his fathers Birthday (they are only a day or so apart). The boyfriend thought that near the pub there might be a nice area to take some photos but it ended up just basically being country roads! So we parked up and made the most out of what we had. Weather wise, the sun was shining and at times it was even warm enough to take the faux fur off. Hopefully this means Spring may just arrive on time this year!

I hope you are all looking forward to your weekend, after the week i've had, I am certainly ready to try and have a relaxing one.

Take care,

Daniella xox

Kilt Time

Outfits

Back before Christmas, the boyfriend and I drove up to Bath for the day. It had been a couple of years since I last visited the beautiful city and so I was excited to get back there again. For shopping, Bath has a great mix of trendy high street shops and unique boutiques, perfect combination if you ask me. The architecture of the buildings is mesmerising and not to mention the history there is to see at every turn. I said to the boyfriend that next time we visit Bath, i'd love to spend the day discovering and soaking up all the history.

There was another reason I was excited that day and that was because I got to wear this amazing kilt, that I bought it from MHL. Margaret Howell! I'd been eyeing it up for a while, like I usually do but this time I didn't take to long to think about it, as I was worried it would sell out and there was no way I could let this one slip through my fingers, since I had been looking for the perfect kilt ever since last winter.

Well thank you for reading my lovelies,

Two C's (Check & Converse)

Yep I still love these wide leg checked trousers that I bought from Asos last winter but can you blame me?! These photos were taken a while ago now, there were other ones that I was more excited about sharing but finally their time has come.

I always knew that i'd style this shoulder warmer belted around my waist, though I thought it would be with a pair of jeans but instead I went with styling it over these checked beauties. I kept everything else fairly classic and simple as well as keeping to a monochrome pallet with just a white tee, my leather jacket and my Converse, .

Take care lovelies,

After The Rain Fell

When I had my first look at these pictures, I just wasn't sure, to the point I didn't know whether I wanted to upload them. More often then not, the more I love an outfit in person, the more the outfit doesn't reach my expectations in photos, it's so annoying and thats how I felt about this outfit. Do you ever have the same feeling when taking your outfit photos?

Anyway a few hours after looking at them, I wondered what they would look like if they were changed to being black & white shots and ah how I love the easiness of modern technology because when I finally got around to editing them, my opinion on these outfit shots had completely changed. I love them, to me they are just so much for visually striking this way and have now become some of my favourites photos to date!

Well, thanks for reading. Take care,

Daniella xox
