Wish I Was Wearing - Wrap Skirt

Posted on

Hi everyone,

It feels like it's been ages since I did a post on what I wish I was wearing, so I thought it was about time I did one. Recently I've noticed the come back of the wrap skirt. This chic style seems to be this seasons "it" skirt and whether it's a maxi, mini or mid length they are definitely something that I am currently coveting.

So I have put together a post of some of my favourite picks with prices ranging from £25 - £665 and I must say I can not believe the huge choice of textures, lengths and colours that there is to be found in this style of skirt.

Anyway I hope you like this post and please tell me which one is your favourite unless your like me and could easily have them all!

Thanks and Take care,

JW Anderson For Topshop Preview

Posted on

Hi everyone,

Last Thursday I had the amazing opportunity to go to Topshop HQ and preview the JW Anderson for Topshop collection. I think this is one of my favourite collaborations Topshop has had. In JW Anderson's collection for Topshop, there is a running theme of repetition, back to school-chic, Mini mart themed goods and there is also some pieces, like the prints he has used that are reminiscent of some of his more iconic pieces from his own previous collections. He wanted to give an overall accessibility to those who either missed out the first time around or simply because it was out of price range. This you can see in his striped tops, his paisley printed skirt and top and so on. I feel whether your style is more minimalist, classic chic, edgy punk, preppy, quirky and unexpected or all combined, you will find it here in this collection but unlike most this has that amazing, unique and original JW Anderson design behind it.

And hey if you really are penny pinching at the moment but still want to be a part of this, purchase his pencils for 99p. Oh and I must add I am still getting over the fact that he has bought back a childhood favourite, the snap bracelet!!!! Yes Omg seriously cool, haha!

Okay so the collection is available from September the 14th and you preview all the pieces online Here. The prices range from 99p to £129.00.

Hope you like. Thank you and take care,
