It May Be Old But It's Still Doing The Trick

Outfits

We have two kind of weather days going on right now, example one: Cold, grey with the odd drizzle and example two: Sunny, dry, warm and positively Spring like. Obviously this outfit was worn on the latter and what better way to get in the mood for spring, (apart from florals) then to wear white on white.

I think with any monochromatic look, the finer details are what can make or break the outfit and in this case I added some of my favourite silver jewellery along with a neutral neck scarf and snake print clutch to subtly break up all the white. Also you can't beat introducing some texture in to a monochromatic outfit, yes i'm talking about my fringed cardigan, which is years old now but still perfectly doing the trick.

Take care,

It's Just A Part Of Who I am

As much as I love experimenting with style and fashion, my heart will always be with timeless classics. Navy sweaters, stripes and denim as we know are all items I don't think any woman should be without, they are the sort of pieces we rely on for comfort whilst still wanting look and feel somewhat stylish. I think with  being bought up and living in Somerset all my life, I feel like Classic clothes, shoes and bags is just part of who I am.

On the day I wore this, I was taking my little nephew out for a walk, with a small trip to the park or two parks in his case, as thanks to living in a the horror that is a suburban new-build village, the choice of parks are endless! Anyway, sometimes all I want for is to take my outfit photos in front of beautiful buildings or unusual settings but this day, I decided to take full advantage of the fact that I live in the countryside where there is so much greenery. I have to say, I may complain ignorantly sometimes but really, I am very lucky to live where I do.

Take care,

Stripes & Shells

During the summer, an overly layered look isn't always possible but there are days when that's all i'm in the mood for and I often find that combining prints or layering jewellery seems to be the perfect compromise to satisfy my sartorial needs. This printed skirt by Marni is a favourite for sure and teaming it with a striped tee seemed to be a winning combination but then again, name me a print that doesn't look good against classic stripes!

A little cardigan and my two tone sandals kept the look grounded whilst I added in some colour and texture with my accessories.

I hope you all like todays look. Thank you for reading and take care,

Lady Pink

Hi lovelies,

So you might of seen this little outfit post pop up on the blog for a couple of hours yesterday, thats because it was a scheduled post originally, as I am busy with getting ready to travel up to London tomorrow for FAHION WEEK! Anyway I must of put in the wrong date in by accident and so removed it. Sorry about that lovelies :)

I have had this Whistles pink lace dress for two or three years now and yes I may not wear it every other week or month but I am pretty much able to bring it out every season, each time wearing and styling it differently to last, something I did not expect to get from dress. I remember when I received it all that time ago and questioning myself if I had made the right decision on buying it, thinking it didn't seem very versatile and had I just bought it because it was a pretty pink dress?! But I think I did make the right decision and over the last couple of years have been happy with the outfits this dress has helped create.

This time I thought I would style it in way that echoed it's ladylike and feminine charm by wearing it with my long cream coat, my very old white pointy court shoes and a red lip. I thought my beanie hat, Mqueen ring and Ray bans would be a cool way to add an urban edge to the look and then finished with my Cooee bracelets.

Well hope you like. Thanks and take care,

Daniella xox

Hii,

Hoping you are all enjoying your weekend. I wanted to show you this look of mine, which included this beautiful dress by the brand Supertrash, it's from their spring/summer line, so it is very light in material which isn't the most ideal for the current weather but still I am so happy with how the outfit turned out.

Wanting to take a minimal approach to styling this piece, I decided to team it with my beloved silk wide leg trousers, the two pieces hung so beautifully together, just the way one would want them to. I added in these Cooee clear bracelets for a small touch of colour but in a way that still echoed minimalism. I kept my hair pulled back, my make-up minimal, with just a splash of pink/red for my lip colour. I chose to wear these sparkly earrings also from Supertrash to add a touch of glamour, which on the one hand I felt was unexpected but on the other I felt they somewhat related to the classic undertone of the outfit. I wore my long cream coat and slipper flats, for a bedtime-chic finish.

Well I hope you like this look. Enjoy whats rest of your weekend,
