Lady Pink

Hi lovelies,

So you might of seen this little outfit post pop up on the blog for a couple of hours yesterday, thats because it was a scheduled post originally, as I am busy with getting ready to travel up to London tomorrow for FAHION WEEK! Anyway I must of put in the wrong date in by accident and so removed it. Sorry about that lovelies :)

I have had this Whistles pink lace dress for two or three years now and yes I may not wear it every other week or month but I am pretty much able to bring it out every season, each time wearing and styling it differently to last, something I did not expect to get from dress. I remember when I received it all that time ago and questioning myself if I had made the right decision on buying it, thinking it didn't seem very versatile and had I just bought it because it was a pretty pink dress?! But I think I did make the right decision and over the last couple of years have been happy with the outfits this dress has helped create.

This time I thought I would style it in way that echoed it's ladylike and feminine charm by wearing it with my long cream coat, my very old white pointy court shoes and a red lip. I thought my beanie hat, Mqueen ring and Ray bans would be a cool way to add an urban edge to the look and then finished with my Cooee bracelets.

Well hope you like. Thanks and take care,

Daniella xox

Cream, Black & Oversized

Hii,

Hoping you are all enjoying your weekend. I wanted to show you this look of mine, which included this beautiful dress by the brand Supertrash, it's from their spring/summer line, so it is very light in material which isn't the most ideal for the current weather but still I am so happy with how the outfit turned out.

Wanting to take a minimal approach to styling this piece, I decided to team it with my beloved silk wide leg trousers, the two pieces hung so beautifully together, just the way one would want them to. I added in these Cooee clear bracelets for a small touch of colour but in a way that still echoed minimalism. I kept my hair pulled back, my make-up minimal, with just a splash of pink/red for my lip colour. I chose to wear these sparkly earrings also from Supertrash to add a touch of glamour, which on the one hand I felt was unexpected but on the other I felt they somewhat related to the classic undertone of the outfit. I wore my long cream coat and slipper flats, for a bedtime-chic finish.

Well I hope you like this look. Enjoy whats rest of your weekend,

Tones Of White

Hey beauties,

Ah I have been waiting to show you this look, it's one of my favourites! Can I say that about myself? Well I guess I just did.

I love white on white looks, I always have and that's probably why I liked wearing this so much. What I also like about this look is that I was wearing a couple of my older pieces, that I didn't wear a whole lot last year, in fact I didn't wear the sweater at all and from what I can remember I only wore the coat once maybe twice. Sometimes it can be hard updating older pieces and I always suffer with that guilt if I haven't worn a piece in a while. But I have come to learn not to worry about that, nor to force it and even if it takes a year, one day it will just come to you and before you know it there seems to be endless possibilities on styling that piece, just like it was when you first bought it. And I love that feeling when I find ways to style it again, reassuring me that I didn't waist my money and that I can get more then just one season out of the piece in question. I know I know these last few lines sound a bit intense considering I am talking about clothes but what can I say, I have a deep passion for fashion.

The cable knit sweater is actually a mens one and wanting to echo those the oversized tones I wore my Sandro trousers, which I probably wouldn't consider oversized but definitely a slouchy fit. Along with my old long cream coat and my big old scarf. Finishing of with my perfect pointy boots and Ilesteva sunnies.

So hope you like the look and let me know what you think. Thanks lovelies and take care,

Meet Mum

Hii,

Well I hope you are all having a great week.

In past posts I have shown you a closer view of my sisters style, so I thought this time it would nice to dedicate an outfit post to my mummy. With out a doubt she has had a huge influence on my love for clothes, style and of course shopping. As she always had lovely pieces and has always made an effort in looking put together. Our taste isn't always the same but she has taught me a lot and still continues to and whats nice is that I am now able to show her  new styling ideas. Things I have always noticed about my mums sense of style would be her love for a classic pair of court shoes, nice knitwear and chic skirts often leather or wool. She was also the person to introduce me Joseph which is one of favourite designer brands when it comes to beautiful, timeless and chic wardrobe staples and for that alone  she deserves a massive thank you. Hehe.

I couldn't resist taking some photos of this look as I loved how she combined classic ladylike pieces in a way that not only represents the edgier side of her style but showed her clear ability to play with prints.

Well I hope you like my Mums look. Thanksss and take care,
