A Little Bit Of Everything

Hey,

So I called this "A Little Bit Of Everything" as this look was all about attempting to bring together pieces from different style categories to form an outfit that played on contrasting styles and also mixing textures. I found that keeping to a mainly darker pallet throughout, benefited the outcome of the outfit, helping the opposites to blend with subtlety and ease. There are times where I like to clash pieces with a bolder approach but sometimes it's nice for the mismatching to be a little more understated.

The bag you can see is one of my mums, she had found her little collection of evening bags that she'd collected over the years and of course I couldn't resist thieving this lil beauty, it was from Accessorize and I just  think its so pretty and really quite ideal for the theme of this look.

Well hope you like the look,

Daniella xox

The Floral Blouse

Hi everyone,

Hope you are enjoying your weekend. This is quite a basic look that I am showing you today but at the time it was very necessary, as it seems the UK doesn't really tend receive nice summer weather it just seems to be humid a muggy. Nice!

So anyway the styling was pretty basic but I tried to keep all the pieces classic and chic. I styled my Elizabeth & James navy shorts with this lovely Paul & Joe sister floral blouse. This blouse was one of those really smart buys, it works all year round and I have been able to wear it in so many different ways. I then opted for my Chloe ballet flats to stay in keeping with the classic styling of the look plus when its that muggy, I find flats are just the easier and comfier option. My jewellery was also quite minimal, both this little necklace and ring were my mums that she gave to me, they are two very special pieces. I wore my Marc by marc jacobs burgundy bag, I haven't worn this bag in a while so I thought this was the perfect outfit for bringing it out again, I felt the colour complimented the rest of the pallet really quite well.

Anyway's my lovelies thats all for now. Hope you all like this look. Thank you and take care,

Luxe in London

Hi lovelies,

Hope your week is going well so far. These outfit pictures were taking a little while ago now, I just never got round to uploading them. Sorry the quality is not great I was late and was in a rush plus it was probably a bit to dark to go around trying to get some nice outfit shots. So anyway I wore this to Nelly Event in London, it was a memorable night fro sure and I was able to look at lots of gorgeous shoes and met some lovely people including some fellow bloggers. I am not really a going out in the evening type of gal so I was a little out of comfort zone trying to find something to wear. My thinking in the end was that as my style can probably be seen as little OTT  for the day (not that bothers me) so its probably more then fine for the evening, so I just kept to my usual way of styling and bared in mind it was for the evening.

So I wore my gorgeous Suno, silk Pyjama-esque trousers, they are so eye catching and teamed with my Elizabeth and James silk striped shirt created print play only in a luxe form, which was well suited for evening attire. For my accessories I piled up the necklaces once again and chose my Totem Salvaged Navajo-inspired clutch that I was lucky enough to receive from my mum for my birthday (she has such great taste) I liked how it clashed and came across quite unexpected but yet worked well because of it's colours.

Okay ENOUGH I hear you saying, so i'll stop now! Hope you like this look.

Thank you and Take care, Daniella xox

Long Sleeves & Flatforms

Hi lovelies,

I love these wide leg, high waisted trousers from The Row, they have such a cool nautical vibe whilst also being very minimal and subtly edgy, well at least i think so and they are also very versatile which is something I always look for in a clothing. So the thought process behind this look was something of minimal and classic with touches of unexpected edge.

With my trousers i wore a simple long-sleeved grey top (well it's actually a dress but you get the idea) with a tighter fit for a more flattering balance. I wore my mums silver necklace which has quite contemporary vibe which I must admit i wasn't sure if it looked right on the day I took these photos but now looking back I really like how it looks. The flatforms were of course for the edgy aspect of the look along with my Chanel round frame sunglasses and the pop of orange was for that splash of unexpectedness.

Hope you like the look. Thank you and Take care, Daniella xox

Silky Marant Girl

Hi everyone, This was something i wore on a saturday a couple of weeks ago. The weather was typically unpredictable throughout the day which was kinda annoying because i was just so desperate to take these Marant trousers out for a spin but hey i took a chance and even though it was a bit dull out, it turned out to be quite mild temperature wise which was perfect for this outfit.

So for my first time wearing these trousers I decided to go for a cream, white and black colour scheme for a minimal, fresh and neutral feel. I also wanted take advantage of these SUPER comfy Isabel Marant trousers and choose other pieces that reflected their relaxed and comfy to wear appeal. So i wore a simple white slightly cropped tee with this cardigan i picked up last Autumn, which i haven't worn a lot because i can never make up my mind about the shape and the colour can be quite tricky to style but this time I definitely felt its shape and colour was perfect for this look.

For my accessories I piled up lots of bracelets on my arm along with my boyfriends watch. I also wore my Topshop backpack,i just love how easy it is to wear. I did my hair in a side plait as a last ditch attempt to get me out of the bad hair day i was having which i think worked out alright in the end, don't you despise bad hair days?! Anyway enough rambling for now,i really hope you like this look. Thank you and Take care,Daniella xox
