Bag Contemplation

Hey sweeties,

It's got to that time where I am desperately craving a new bag, I don't own that many or at least thats how I feel, they aren't something I buy that often because it takes a lot for me to like and buy a bag, I really have to fall in love with it and think about it day and night. Here are some bags that have been on my mind recently and especially this khaki green Givenchy Obsedia clutch-bag, AHHH BE MINE! And with my birthday not that far into the horizon, i'm hoping that someone like, I don't know, The boyfriend/ my mum/ anyone who's feeling generous will read this post and give me a very Happy Birthday indeed :D

So tell me, do you like any of these bags here?

Take care lovelies,
Daniella xox

Jackets & Flares

Hello lovelies,

It's been a while since I last wore these navy flared trousers, they are by Diane von Furstenberg and like all (all meaning, like 3 or 4) the pieces I own of hers, the fit and cut is exceptional. What I love about these trousers is that I don't need to wear them all the time, though I easily could because I love them so much and they are of course versatile but I don't, as they are a classic and i'm sure they won't ever date, so I find there is no need to exhaust them. Instead I just sit back and wait for the right outfit to come to mind.

For this look the idea was fairly simple, with just an old loose fitting grey sweater, my old leather jacket, a piece I am really quite into again at the moment and my cropped furry jacket worn over the top, as combining textures such as these, is great way to add interesting detail and depth to a fairly simple look. I wore my Alexander Wang shoes, as they have this orange trim around the edges which was just enough to add a subtle hint of colour and I also find the trousers fall perfectly when styled with them. To finish the outfit I wore my Illesteva sunnies because they felt a little more unexpected then my Ray Bans. Aw and I have to say I kinda miss my hair looking like this, as these photos were taken before I went to PFW and since then I have had a few highlights put into my hair but oh well, I'll give it time and they'll grow out again. :)

Hope you like this look lovelies and take care,

Daniella xox

Christmas Lights Ready

Hii,

A couple of weeks ago the christmas lights got switched on in my town and it's an event that I look forward to every year. It's nothing spectacular as it's just a small town but it's important and special to me like I am sure it is to others in the town. Though we were close to not having any at all due to lack of funding but luckily all the shops pulled together and with the help from my friend Jake it happened, not that the local council gave him any thanks but at least he knows and those around him know that he was a big help.

Finding something to wear was fun, as the crazy Christmas lady inside me wanted to go full on with a Christmas themed outfit, maybe even get me some of those awesome flashing earrings. Ohh Yeah!  Thankfully for my sake and my boyfriend and sisters sake who I went with, I didn't. No instead I stuck with my go-to casual combo of my favourite skinnies with my Ash biker boots. I then wore my Topshop oxblood sweater and teamed it with my DKNY furry jacket, finished of with my charcoal grey scarf and my old old old Jack Wills Christmasy beanie. And that my lovelies is my Christmas light switch on look, what do you think?

Thank you and look forward to reading your comments. Take care,

Hiii lovelies,

A couple of my newest things that I saved from showing you until now is this amazing skirt by Topshop Boutique. I also bought this basic grey tee also by Topshop Boutique.

I could actually talk about how much I love the Topshop Boutique range for hours, I think each piece they produce has such a timeless classic and yet a modern feel and if you wanted you could easily build your entire wardrobe (apart from shoes and bags) from just their range. I spend a lot of time checking the Boutique range online and this time I just couldn't resist this super luxe skirt. It's print, rich colours and the split up the side are all justifiable reasons for making the purchase.

When buying the skirt I couldn't bypass this luxe grey tee, just knowing it would make a great companion for the skirt. It gave casual balance whilst also contrasting those super luxe tones. I added in my turtleneck as the top on it's own would of just been to cold and with there being blue in the skirt, it only made sense to choose my navy one. I borrowed my mums necklaces and layered them up together and with both necklaces being silver helped them to blend in better with the grey tee, creating a far more subtle statement, whilst still adding a certain amount of depth and intrigue within the look. As this outfit quickly became quite layered with a mix match of items, I thought why not just go all out and throw in my furry jacket, my silver brogues and a pair of navy ankle socks. The result, yes possibly a bitt OTT but that kinda makes me love it more.

Well I hope you all like this look and I look forward to reading what you you think about this outfit.

Take care,

Lady Rock

  • Hi lovelies,

I remember it was such a gloomy day when I took these photos and was a little worried about the quality of them but luckily I found a few that I am happy with.

I was so excited to finally wear this DKNY furry coat that I bought a few months ago and when Autumn/winter hits nothing looks cooler then the textures of something furry with leather, though it's normally leather trousers that you tend to see more of concerning this combo. So I teamed my furry jacket with my old leather skirt that I bought from Urban outfitters a few years ago now. It's not the best quality as it was only from their renewal section but I always love how it looks on. I borrowed my boyfriend's Ramones tee for clear rock chick appeal and yes it could of been so easy to pick my favourite pair of ankle boots to style with this outfit but over the years it feels like I have done that so many times, so instead I decided to contrast those edgy qualities and picked an ultra classic and ladylike pair of shoes, which were of course my Miu Miu faves. Wearing these shoes somehow came across edgier and maybe thats because in my opinion they felt unexpected.

Accessories included these Illesteva Sunnies, my Alexander Mqueen ring and my chain bracelet for a more minimal finish.

Well I hope you all like this look. Thank you and Take care,
