Here are todays "my Wish I was wearing" outfit's. I have put two together this time using these very beautiful and chic striped trousers from Carven. It's got to that time of the year where you really have to think when you're shopping about how you can wear it now and for how you can wear later, when it starts to become chillier. And yes Those Nicholas Kirkwood's are back, I could' t resist the print play they created.
I really hope you like these looks my lovelies. Thanks and Take care, Daniella xox
Yes this was indeed quite a long picture post I know but it's not always that often that I like so many of the picture we've taken and this had actually been narrowed down.
Anyway the outfit is really quite simple, it was very warm outside and I was in the need for staying cool and comfy and also as someone who likes to layer and mix prints a lot, sometimes i need to refresh my thinking and neutralise my look and I do that by creating something which I deem to be somewhat of a modern-minimal approach. So this amazing Linen skirt by Acne was perfect, I love it's uneven length and zipped detailing putting a small but edgy twist to quite a simple piece (though that is what Acne dose best) and then I styled my COS A-line shirt with the skirt because what looks better then a crisp white shirt and natural linen skirt?!
For my shoes I wore my Camilla Skovgaard sandals as I liked how the black looked so harsh against the neutral colours and I just love how they scream edginess with their cut out details. I went with my backpack as nothing else seem to look quite as good and then some of my Alexander Mqueen jewellery.
Hope you all like this look! Thank you and Take care,
This is something I wore on a very rainy day. Finding an outfit when you are fashion and style conscious is definitely no easy process when its disgusting outside. You have to find appropriate footwear, a semi waterproof cover up, and still find a way to incorporate whatever season you are currently in, which can become even more difficult in the summer and it's humid outside. So after going through every possible piece that I deemed to be weather appropriate, this is what I came up with…..
I wore my MIH slouch jeans as they are a light material which was good in preventing me from becoming to hot, as it can still be very muggy even though it's raining. I then wore my COS A-line shirt (though you can't really see the shape here) with my striped Milly cardigan as combined with the trousers and crisp white shirt created nautical tones, which is an ideal and classic way to keep the outfit still summery. I also wore my Missoni silk scarf for light layers and subtle print clash. For my cover up my leather jacket was perfect for adding in an unexpected and edgy tone to the look.
Footwear had to be my Acne Pistol boots, of course I would of preferred another choice in footwear but the weather gave me no choice and hey when do these boots ever fail? well THEY JUST DON'T!
And yes I know you are probably wondering why I am wearing sunglasses, well it's because it was still quite bright outside and I have sensitive eyes to light and if you are wondering why my sunglasses look so massive, well it's because I left mine in the house, so the boyfriend lent me his and as you can see they don't fit me.
Thank you if you have actually taken 45 minutes out of your time to read this essay. Take care,

Heres another "wish i was wearing". This is the kind of outfit i'd love to be wearing on a cooler summer day, possibly on a friday and going out for lunch. I like how some of the pieces subtly clash but are then bought together an neutralised by the classic pieces like the little cardigan, the Ray Bans and the simple chain necklace. Also these are great pieces for giving a little nod to the upcoming season. Now I just need to find me a little pot of gold so I can make this outfit MINE! haha yeah right, I know!
I don't know if any of you remember this Marni skirt I bought earlier in the year, I've worn it once before and decided it was warm enough to wear again. For styling it I was in the mood for mixing print with colour and thought my Cos green knit would be the perfect choice. It's green colour combined with the brown tones of the skirt created, what I would call a raw earthy colour pallet and the knit's beautiful rippled effect gave interesting detailing. I added a simple white tee underneath the knit to build light layers.
For my jewellery, I piled up some of my favourite necklaces to create depth and bring even more texture to the look. I also wore my Alexander Mqueen ring to add touch of edginess. My shoes are actually my Mummy's, I found them hiding in her wardrobe, I think she said that they are about 20 years old! I thought their neutral gold tones complimented the outfit in a more discreet manner.
Really hoping you will like this look. Thank you and Take care, Daniella xox
