His & Hers

Hello,

If you have a boyfriend/ or husband you'll know and understand how addictive borrowing from their wardrobe can get! I've wanted to style this chunky-knit cardigan of his into one of my looks for a couple of years now but just never got round to it but given what must of been our 6 month long winter I decided to take the opportunity to finally wear it. Luckily the sun was actually out back when I wore this and at least looked spring-like even if it didn't feel it.

I wore the cardigan over my checked shirt for some subtle print play, though annoyingly I forgot to button it up properly throughout the whole picture taking process, grr…. love it when that happens!! To make the look feel and appear slightly more spring-like I went with some transeasonal favourites of mine such as this CLOSED utility jacket for it's lightweight material, my nude Chloe ballet flats because they are just so cute and chic for spring and then my Ally Capellino canvas & leather bag for a splash of colour that instantly brightens up my day. By adding in a brown belt and opting for skinnies helped to define my waistline a little better and balance out the proportions of the outfit.

Well thats me done for the day. Hope you like the look, thank you and take care,

Chloe Boots

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to share with you these very beautiful and very chic Chloe boots with you, that I am currently coveting. I can see these boots working with literally everything I own and it's hard to find that in a shoe. Or maybe thats just what I am telling myself to somehow justify me even just dreaming about owning them. Ah to bad about their £550.00 price tag but that doesn't stop me from hoping and dreaming, hoping and dreaming! :)

Thanks for reading and Take care,

Black, Blue & a Splash Of Burgundy

Hello everyone,

Have you enjoyed your weekend so far?

Well here is something I wore on a sunday couple of weeks ago. Me and boyfriend were just popping to starbucks for a hot drink and something yummy to eat, I of course had the fruit bread. We also took my lil nephew with us, which is always interesting as he is going to be turning two soon but luckily he was a very good lil boy.

So when it came to deciding on what to wear I knew there had to be a certain amount of comfiness involved as not only was it a sunday but I also had to consider the fact that I might be chasing after a toddler that would probably be running rings around me. Of course I still wanted to look well styled and chic, so this is how it ended up.

I wore these Joseph leather leggings that I lived in last year and I just couldn't wait any longer to start wearing them again and so I teamed them with this navy lace top by Reiss and my black gilet that I love oh so much and am so excited to wearing it again, in fact I am just grateful that it didn't fall apart after wearing it so much last year. Even though individually the pieces are fairly simple, together all their different textures create interesting depth and it's details like that, that you look for and need when wearing a fairly simple outfit. I wore my marc by marc Jacobs Burgundy bag which helped lift the blue top perfectly, whilst also adding a nice splash of Autumn/winter colour. On to the shoes now and I am sure you have noticed by now that these photos aren't the best, the boyfriend was clearly being lazy that day and decided he wasn't even going to bother with the settings and because of that I have ended up with invisible feet, brilliant! So please try and ignore the overall quality of the photos and just so you know I was wearing my Chloe ballet flats, mainly for comfy-chic.

Well I hope you like this look. Thank you for any lovely comments and enjoy the rest of your sunday,
