Two outfit posts in a row and i'm wearing the same Kaylee Cho cape/jacket. What can I say, I love it and I find it so easy to style. It's very chic and extremely versatile and I love how it contrasted the neutral layers of this look. Probably way to cold these days to go out in shorts, bare legs and ballet flats but at the time of taking these photos, it was just right!
To continue my little love affair with shorts that I've been having recently, I decided to give this androgynous pair a romantic twist by wearing this old vintage-y style dress as a blouse. My ballet flats only seemed to compliment the feminine tones and I was perfectly fine with that, though I did add a little touch of quirk with my Illesteva sunnies.
Easy, light, classic and romantic is sometimes all I want and need in a summertime outfit! Thank you for reading my dears,

Yes lovelies I did it, I bought this beautiful striped jacket by 3.1 Phillip Lim! I may not be the most dedicated to sales but I definitely could not let this silky beauty slip through my fingers, so I made grab for it!
For my first time wearing and styling the piece, I decided to team it with another light and airy item of mine, this Back by Ann-Sofie Back dress, perfect combination to combat the summer heat we've been having here. I then finished off with the these always chic Chloe ballet flats and my Chanel bag. The whole look, I felt, had a modern 1920's feel, with the loose and slightly androgynous silhouette. Now I must say that I do love this dress very much, the shape, the subtle details and the way it hangs is right up my style ally but ever since I received the dress it's been very static! Now i've never really had this problem before, so I don't know if its down to poor quality or not?! But I do hope it's not, as I love the designer and it would be a big shame if it was down to poor quality. So if any of you have any tips on how I can get rid of the static, please please please let me know.
Well I hope you all like this look. Thank you for reading and take care,
If you have a boyfriend/ or husband you'll know and understand how addictive borrowing from their wardrobe can get! I've wanted to style this chunky-knit cardigan of his into one of my looks for a couple of years now but just never got round to it but given what must of been our 6 month long winter I decided to take the opportunity to finally wear it. Luckily the sun was actually out back when I wore this and at least looked spring-like even if it didn't feel it.
I wore the cardigan over my checked shirt for some subtle print play, though annoyingly I forgot to button it up properly throughout the whole picture taking process, grr…. love it when that happens!! To make the look feel and appear slightly more spring-like I went with some transeasonal favourites of mine such as this CLOSED utility jacket for it's lightweight material, my nude Chloe ballet flats because they are just so cute and chic for spring and then my Ally Capellino canvas & leather bag for a splash of colour that instantly brightens up my day. By adding in a brown belt and opting for skinnies helped to define my waistline a little better and balance out the proportions of the outfit.
Well thats me done for the day. Hope you like the look, thank you and take care,
