Hello lovelies,

Here is the outfit I wore on my second day when I was in Paris for fashion week. Just before I went I treated myself to a couple of new things from Topshop. Firstly I bought this check print shirt from their Unique range, as I had been craving it for so long and I also came across this pretty amazing military green trench coat from Topshop's Boutique range. I love trench coats, they are so classic and so chic and plus I am super into all green coats/jackets right now, so it had to be done. 

I loved how these two pieces looked styled together and with that I found myself a starting point. And yes before anyone says, I did have multiple layers on underneath these thin pieces, even including a turtleneck but yes I was still frozen to the core, thank god for my awesome boyfriend coming to my rescue and bringing me an extra coat. I wore my navy Carven trousers with a classic brown belt, I just love these trousers so much, a favourite of mine for sure and I just felt they deserved to be worn at PFW, don't you agree? I wore them with my Jil Sander metallic brogues, another wardrobe fave of mine, I love how they looked against the rich navy blue and military green, whilst also giving of that 1920's androgynous appeal that I adore oh so much, it just never seems to dates and always looks chic. I added in my Missoni scarf for subtle play on prints and wore my Illesteva Sunglasses for a small touch of some good old, mad professor sexiness :D 

I really enjoyed my second day there, probably because it was the only full day I had in Paris which made it feel a lot more relaxed and enjoyable. There were other reasons also but for now I'll remain quite on that one… Yes i'm one of those people! Once again Thank you Stedentrips for making Paris fashion week possisible!

Hi lovelies, 

 

This is something I wore not so long ago, it was just to have some coffee with the boyfriend but I really loved wearing this outfit as navy is one of my favourite colours to wear and especially so when teamed with black.

 

These wide leg trousers by Carven are one of my favourite buys this year. I feel so confident when I am wearing them, I just can't get enough of their chic and timeless shape and the versatility that they have are proving to be such a joy to style. With styling them this time around I wanted to echo their classic appeal by styling them with this navy turtleneck by Splendid which also worked very well for creating a tone on tone look. For shoes I went with these Miu Miu heels, I contemplated going for an edgier pair in order to throw the primness of the look off balance but for some reason that felt more expected and instead went for the predictability of the Miu Miu's. 

 

I threw my mens cardigan over my shoulders for a nonchalant approach and a brown belt to break up and define where the top stops and the trousers begin. I kept everything else minimal as I felt that gave the look a subtle yet edgier undertone, feeling that thats what the look was needing.

Hi lovelies,

 

It's Friday already! And here is a look for you all. 

 

I wanted to wear this gorgeous Vionnet top again and with it's gorgeous eye catching scarf print I couldn't resist mixing it up with another print this time around. So I teamed it with one of favourite pieces, this Elizabeth & James silk, striped shirt. It didn't look right with the sleeves down, for some reason it seemed to throw all the proportions off balance, so rolled them up, which actually gave the look a more effortless and casual feel. 

 

I then went with these Carven navy wide leg trousers, another wardrobe favourite of mine. Their length along with their shape is just soooo chic in my opinion and I really liked the way they picked up the blue in my shirt. For my shoes I went with these very old Pretty ballerina's that I came across the other day, their bronzed colour just seemed to work really well and I liked how they gave a sense of unexpectedness. I don't why but when I look at this outfit I think of an old fashioned bar man, like in the western films, hehe. I really enjoyed wearing this, it was one of those outfits that I felt very confident in, which was nice because it was around a time when I was struggling to get inspired. 

 

Finishing touches included this Totem Salvaged clutch, my double skull Mqueen ring and the boyfriend's watch, cheeky I know but what are boyfriends for if you can't steal from their wardrobe every now and again!

Here are todays "my Wish I was wearing" outfit's. I have put two together this time using these very beautiful and chic striped trousers from Carven. It's got to that time of the year where you really have to think when you're shopping about how you can wear it now and for how you can wear later, when it starts to become chillier. And yes Those Nicholas Kirkwood's are back, I could' t resist the print play they created.

Hi lovlies, 

 

So this is what I wore when me and the bf went out for breakfast a couple of weeks ago, though like the great blogger I am I forgot to take pictures of the lovely breakfast we had to eat! Next time I promise! I have to say getting up to eat out for breakfast was quite weird as I was up, showered and dressed by 10 AM where as normally I have just woken, yes you are definitely right in thinking i am not a morning person. But i really enjoyed the very calm and relaxed vibe that a Sunday morning has. 

 

Anyway on to the outfit, as you can see there are quite few pictures of this outfit (should i admit that even this selection was hugely narrowed down) but please know it's not me being vain, just merely for the fact that this is one of my favourite outfits I think i've ever worn and I really liked each angle that the camera caught of the outfit. I think these Carven wide leg trousers are a big factor in why I love this look so much, they are so chic and timeless and their cropped length gives them a slight twist. I styled them with this simple Topshop grey cardigan, to carry on that classic vibe but leaving just a couple of the buttons undone to add little but effective detail. 

 

For my bag it had to be classic Chanel as I feeling quite "Coco" and then for my shoes I wore my Asos Sandals once again, as i felt the looks only needed a "barely there" style of shoe. 

 

Okay okay I think this is my BIGGEST RAMBLE to date but i really do hope you like this look.
