I know I know, sandals… really?! But these outfit photos were taken a while ago now, not that I have to justify myself to anyone but I just thought i'd say.
Just a simple look with the boyfriends sweater (of course) and my old cream trousers by Sandro, that I pinned up in order to make them cropped, which is kinda obvious I know but it still created the look I wanted to achieve. To set the outfit off I just added my wide brim hat and Chanel bag, for an easy-chic, comfy and classic combo.
And hey, can you believe we are at the end of October already?! I still have a few outfits to show you from earlier this month, i'll try and get them uploaded next week. Also are you doing anything for halloween? We're broke and all unwell with a horrible cold so keeping things to a minimum. My sister, my mum and I might watch a classic horror film tonight, possibly make some toffee apples and carve a pumpkin (if we can find one last minute).
Take care lovelies and have a Happy/spooky Halloween ,
So the day I wore this, I was off to meet a friend for some coffee, to have a much needed catch up and even though it was almost a month ago that these photos were taken, I still wanted to share this look with you. I remember it was one of those days, where the British weather was trying to impress by showing off it's versatile abilities! It went from verging on being hot, to clouding over and having a pretty cold, annoying wind and then it's grand finally… RAIN! And it would repeat that sequence throughout the day, I know, just what you want when you're heading out! Luckily we got these photos done just in time.
Anyway I know I shouldn't be sat here sarcastically moaning about the weather but it was really quite relevant to how I dressed that day. Classics are always a great fall-back option when we are hit with weather unpredictability and so with that, I stuck with some old but timeless favourites, these navy cropped trousers never fail me and brown leather loafers being the ultimate preppy-chic companion seemed like the perfect choice for the hot/cold weather. I borrowed this super cosy knitted v-neck sweater from the boyfriend and this Joseph summer trench-style coat from my Mum, funnily enough the friend I was meeting that day had bought her mum along and it turned out she had also bought the same Joseph coat all them years ago, which I thought to be funny coincidence.
Well my loves, I hope you like this look! Take care,
This is something I wore a couple of weeks or so ago, the sun was out but a cold wind was still showing us just who's the boss around here!
Winter whites, summer whites and so why not some spring whites?! Well sorta because to be fair I am only wearing one piece of white clothing here, so maybe I should of named this post something different but its done now and come on, we all know how difficult blogpost naming can be at times! So this outfit was all about compromises, I wanted to wear these summer trousers but it was just to cold to wear them with a simple white tee, so I compromised by picking my super thick cable-knit sweater, I wanted to wear sandals so I compromised by wearing my Birkenstocks but with some extra thick socks and then for my finishing touches I wore my Illesteva sunnies and my Ally Capellino bag and yes I would of loved to of left the look like this but with the cold wind I decided to compromise with mother nature by adding in this olive coloured scarf. And that my lovelies, is how I ended up with this sexy ensemble, I don't how the boyfriend restrained himself :D ;)
Anyways, I best be off. Thank you in advance for any comments and take care,
Here is something I wore a few weeks back. It was a very cold and wet day which many of you would probably agree leaves you ( I ) completely uninspired! In the end I decided to stick with some winter basics of mine.
I started off with what feels like my uniform of the winter season - my leather trousers and pointy KG Kurt Geiger boots! This combination has definitely proven to be fail-safe, which makes it a perfect solution on days such as this. I wore my thick cream cable-knit sweater with a white shirt underneath, just to add some preppy-chic detailing to the outfit and I also decided to wear this leather skirt of mine as I felt it put just enough of a twist on the look to satisfy my stylistic needs. Luckily we found a spot that was undercover where we could take some photos, which allowed me to take my coat off and add in my Illesteva sunnies.
I hope you like this look my lovelies. Thank you and take care,
