Pink & Print

Hello lovelies,

Here is something I wore on a grey and chilly sunday a few weeks ago. I know crazy that i'm posting a look in May where I am actually still wearing a coat, though the pictures were taken back in April and i'm only draping the coat over my shoulders. I love these checked trousers of mine so much, I still can't get over that they were only £40 from Asos.

I realised I hadn't yet done a look with these trousers, where the styling was simple and somewhat classic. A white shirt and a brown belt were of course a given in this circumstance, a combination i'll never get tired of. I wore this old swing coat of mine because like I said it was chilly and I liked how the tweed subtly clashed with the check print of the trousers. To add some colour and to, well, brighten up my grey day I wore my pink Miu Miu shoes, Ah how I love them so!

Well Y'all I best be off. Hope you like the look and take care,

PFW: Day 1

Hey there lovelies,

Here is what I wore on my first day at Paris fashion week. A look I really loved wearing, a great thing about it was that it was comfy to wear, which as you know or can imagine is a bonus at Fashion week and even though I had on a lot of layers, to the point I can't remember how many vests I was actually wearing, I was still freezing and to be honest I don't think there are any clothes out there that are made for the weather we had to endure in Paris! It was Freeeezing!

So we didn't have time do a whole lot that day but we did go to the Balmain show to shoot some street style and Wow, that was an experience I won't forget! I was pretty much a nervous wreck after leaving there, crazy doesn't even begin to cover it, I mean there were literally fights breaking out. On the other hand it was awesome to see all the super stylish folk in all their finest.

Right onto the outfit, I really wanted to create a look that had a vintage opulent vibe about it but I wanted to do it in a way that's relevant to my own sense of style. I don't know if it's considered a faux-pa to wear the same items to multiple fashion weeks but here I am wearing these Asos checked trousers again, oh and also the Birkenstocks and socks combo made another appearance. Though this time I styled both trousers and shoes with these two strongly printed kimonos of mine, it's a shame you can't see more of the other kimono, annoyingly the scarf seemed to cover most of it up. I also wore this amazing green coat, that i've been hiding from you, I just adore the way it hangs and those giant furry cuffs are just way cool. I finished of with a black wide brim hat and my Chanel bag, for those classic touches that I love so much.

Well I hope you like this look. Thanks sweetie and take care,

LFW Outfit One

Hello everyone,

So I thought it was about time I started showing you my LFW looks. Here is what I wore on my first day in London, it was a last minute decision to wear this outfit, which made me a bit anxious but I liked the result and especially so as I finally got to wear these Asos checked trousers, which I have had for ages now.

I styled them with my Eskander checked shirt for print on print styling, something that I always enjoy doing but decided to keep that touch very subtle by wearing my navy knit from Cos over the top, as it complimented the colours of my shirt and trousers perfectly. I chose to wear my very old white pointy shoes, as ya know we are all loving a bit of the white shoe at the moment! Even though I loveeeee heels, I don't actually have very good balance when it comes to walking in them (apart from heeled boots) I feel like I must look look a little girl trying her mums heels on for the first time! Plus I feel I can enjoy myself a lot more when I am wearing a shoe thats comfier and easier to trot around in, so for the rest of the time spent in London (apart from one evening event) I wore flats but that's not say they can't look just as chic.

As I clearly do not have the luxury of having a private car to take me from place to place and with knowing that I would be outside a lot trying to capture some street style, I had to be wise and keep myself nice and warm, so I chose to wear my Cheap Monday grey coat with my Oska cape layered over the top. I really love the strong splash of colour it bought to the outfit, really lifting the darker tones. I finished of with what appeared to be a LFW must have, The Beanie! Also my Ray Bans, Alexander Mqueen ring and Prada bag. :)

Well thats all for now, looks from day 2 and 3 from my LFW trip will soon follow! Thank you lovelies and take care,

Just Two More

Hi everyone,

Just a lil post to show you a couple of things I treated myself to back in november. Since then, apart from the Cooee, i've been only focused on buying Christmas presents! It's been hard but I know it will be worth it when I see the hopefully happy faces of those to whom I give them to :)

The Acne sweater is a piece I have wanted for a while now and I was finally able to get my hands on it, yay! And well these trousers by Asos were just to good to pass up! Soo looking forward to styling both these pieces and sorry about the quality of the photos, it was a mix between bad lighting and me being lazy with the settings!

Well I hope you like. Thank you and enjoy your weekend,

Classics

Hello,

How is everyone? Here is a fairly simple look of mine that was made up of a few of my wardrobe classics. I was originally going to take the photos inside as it raining that day but then the rain stopped just long enough for us to nip out and take a few.

Apart from the classic appeal of this outfit, I also wanted to set a androgynous tone with a laid back feel. I've had these Miu Miu trousers for a couple of years now and their cut and fit is truly beautiful, admittedly they are to long for me but i've never gotten round to having them taken up, so I just roll them up instead. I bought them the year I decided to make a change in my wardrobe, which was to start investing in classic, chic and timeless pieces and these are certainly just that. The same year I also bought this Silk striped shirt by Elizabeth & James, it's got more of a balloon shape rather then a classic one but the way it hangs is simply stunning, I let it just hang loose over my trousers along with a simple cardigan to give casual balance to these smarter pieces.

For my shoes I wore my beloved Jil Sander metallic brogues, they are a timeless style but with them being metallic gives of a far cooler feel. I tried to keep other accessories a little more edgier to contrast the smarter tone.

Well I'm going to love you and leave you now. Hope you like this look. Thank you and take care,
