Jackets & Flares

Hello lovelies,

It's been a while since I last wore these navy flared trousers, they are by Diane von Furstenberg and like all (all meaning, like 3 or 4) the pieces I own of hers, the fit and cut is exceptional. What I love about these trousers is that I don't need to wear them all the time, though I easily could because I love them so much and they are of course versatile but I don't, as they are a classic and i'm sure they won't ever date, so I find there is no need to exhaust them. Instead I just sit back and wait for the right outfit to come to mind.

For this look the idea was fairly simple, with just an old loose fitting grey sweater, my old leather jacket, a piece I am really quite into again at the moment and my cropped furry jacket worn over the top, as combining textures such as these, is great way to add interesting detail and depth to a fairly simple look. I wore my Alexander Wang shoes, as they have this orange trim around the edges which was just enough to add a subtle hint of colour and I also find the trousers fall perfectly when styled with them. To finish the outfit I wore my Illesteva sunnies because they felt a little more unexpected then my Ray Bans. Aw and I have to say I kinda miss my hair looking like this, as these photos were taken before I went to PFW and since then I have had a few highlights put into my hair but oh well, I'll give it time and they'll grow out again. :)

Hope you like this look lovelies and take care,

Daniella xox

Black, Navy, Denim & Sneakers

Hi sweeties,

So this look of mine is actually from wayy back in December!!! For some crazy reason I hadn't gotten round to uploading it to the blog and so finally here it is. Nothing overly special in fact it's pretty casual but it's what I was feeling at the time.

I styled these old Siwy jeans of mine with an old denim shirt for a tad of the old double denim and then wore my awesome navy knit over the top along with my very old but never the less timeless leather jacket. Normally I wouldn't go about ziping it up, I mean half the time it's just hanging of my shoulders, ya know because it's cool that way but I don't know, this time it just felt right to zip it up, slightly edgier or something.

I wore my Wang sneakers to emulate those casual tones, plus they had been a little neglected at the time of putting this look together, probably because everyone and their mother were sporting super cool sneakers in their everyday looks and sometimes it's best just to step back from it for a little while until the time feels right again and well, this day felt right. I finished off with my go-to hat of the winter season, "The Beanie"! As well as wearing my Illesteva sunnies and Chanel bag.

Well thats me done! Hope you all like this look, look forward to reading your comments. Thankss and take care lovelies,

Daniella xox

Blue, Grey & Brown Leather

HI everyone,

So I am back from LFW and I want to thank you all for continuing to leave me such lovely comments on my posts whilst I was away. I had a wonderful time in London and got to meet some very inspiring people and one person in particular that made a personal dream come true. I also want to thank my AMAZING boyfriend because he made my time there so enjoyable with all his support in helping me to get around with such ease.  I will be working on some LFW posts very soon but for now here is just a little something I wore a couple of weeks ago.

I had decided it was about time that I wore this amazing top once again, as I think it was last spring when I last styled this top into a look, I know crazy right?! So I decided to keep everything quite simple a take a classic approach when picking the other pieces, as I find it to be an interesting contrast against the sportier tone of my top. I love this brown leather skirt of mine, I bought it from Abercrombie & Fitch years ago, it can just be a bit of nightmare to style with it being soo short! Like I want to wear it in the summer but I tend to be a bit conscious of the top part of my legs but I am thinking a white shirt underneath that comes longer then the length of the skirt would do the trick. Anyway here I am talking about a look that hasn't even happened, so back to this outfit. I wore a pair of black tights, as not only dose it make me feel more at ease with the short length of the skirt but come on, I would look CRAZY without them this time of year! I wore my low heeled Miu Miu's, my old Cheap Monday coat and finished with my typical picks, Chanel bag and Ray bans.

Well Hope you like this look my lovelies. Thank you and take care,

Daniella xox

Sequins At My Ankles

Heyy,

So me and the boyfriend have been watching this series called breaking bad, have your seen or heard of it? Anyway strangely I found myself unexpectedly inspired by the character "Jesse" and weirdly for his style. For those who have not seen it, it's kinda skater-boy meets gangster, or at least thats how I view it to be. So that was definitely a big influence in how I came to style this look.

I had also once again been looking for a way to style my awesome sequinned trousers by IRO and I decided on layering them underneath this pleated skirt of mine and I know it kinda seems like I am defeating the object by hiding almost all of the trouser but sometimes subtlety can be just as striking as the opposed and well I found they needed to be styled this way in order to create the look I wanted. I wore my old Acne oversized sweater dress, my Wang sneakers and a beanie to also create those inspired tones and then finished off by adding a certain ladylike twist with my boucle jacket and Chanel bag. I would of preferred to leave the jacket, not because I didn't like how it looked but because I preferred the impact the look had without it but it was pretty freezing out, so I kinda had no choice.

Well I hope you all like this look and wishing you all very Happy Valentines Day :)

Hi everyone,

If you seen my Christmas posts you'd of seen this Peace sweater from Acne that my boyfriend kindly gifted me and with being quite eager to wear it, I styled it for a look almost straight away.

I kept the look casual and teamed it with my favourite pair of skinnies to keep the colour pallet fairly tonal and with the addition of my navy beanie finishing that off perfectly, whilst also adding to those urban qualities that I wanted to create with this look. I wore my cos puffer coat (that I bought in last years winter sales) as nothing seems cool or more right now then wearing a puffer with a chic pair of heels, which of course had to be some Wangs! I kept my accessories very simple with just my Illesteva sunnies and my Prada tote.

My jewellery approach was even more minimal again, with just keeping it to this very delicate and beautiful ring by Thea jewellery. I was lucky enough to design and receive this ring with thanks to Thea jewellery and Fashiolista as they have both teamed up with myself and two other fellow bloggers, who have also designed their own ring and put together a look for an amazing competition that they are holding right now, where you can also design and WIN a Thea ring! I know, awesome right?! You can VOTE your favourite look HERE (which will hopefully be mine) ;) and who knows you just might Win!

Well good luck and thank you for reading. Take care,
