LCM

Outfits

It's taken me a while to get these photos uploaded to the blog but here is what I wore up to London a couple of weeks back to attend the KTZ show during LCM. Sorry the lighting of the photos is a bit off but my friend and I were darting around London like crazy and by the time we finally had a minute to take some shots, it was pretty dark but considering my friend has never taken my outfit photos before nor used an SLR camera, I don't think he did to bad.

London collections Mens is sooo different to ladies London fashion week, a lot quieter which is kinda nice in a way. The KTZ show was very cool (I nabbed a front row seat, don't think I was supposed to be there though but the lady sat me down there, so I wasn't going to say no. FYI the view is so much better) The collection was full of texture, they showcased some all white looks as well as a lot of monochrome, with interesting details, like mirrored embellishments, whilst still bringing that sense of edgy urban-coolness to the collection. BIG thank you to Propercorn for making that special day possible! And also thank you for the porpercorn popcorn, sweet & salty rules!

I Hope everyone is well,

Trench Time

To be fair apart from a few rainy days, september was quite a warm month but then again I think it always is and even though we should be grateful for it, as about two months after we are just going to be complaining about the bitter cold, we still seem to think the same thing every September, "why aren't the temperatures perfect enough to enable us to team thick-knit sweaters with skirts and sandals" or roughly there a bouts. To be honest i'm not sure why i'm talking about this, as firstly this photo was actually taken way back in August on a chillier and rainy (on & off) day and secondly we are not even in September! But we are as I write this, see the date is 25th September and tomorrow i'll be in Paris and I always get nervous when I know i'm leaving home for a bit even if it is for something completely awesome! So, I thought i'd organise some posts, to distract me.

Well, here you are just looking at combination of some light layers, matching military greens with my favourite trench and my very very old Pretty Ballerina flats, simple but well suited for me that day. Well I hope you like this look and if you've taken the time to read my ramblings, I thank you :)

Take care,

LFW Day 4: Cape/Jacket

Outfits

So this is the last of my LFW outfits, unless i'm able to get hold of a photo from the first day I was there. I can't say that this outfit was planned, in fact I only put it together the night before, which maybe okay on a normal occasion but this was Fashion Week, so it was ever so slightly distressing for this highly organised gal! See the forecast had given rain for pretty much the whole day and I didn't think Birkenstocks and a light kimono was a smart idea! So heres how my makeshift outfit turned out.

I am so glad I took this Kaylee Cho jacket with me, it's such a chic versatile piece and is perfect for keeping me stylishly warm. I was also excited to wear this Margaret Howell knitted beret that I picked up in the summer sales. And yes once again I'm in these flats but I love the way they always add a little something to any look and plus they made things a whole lot easier for getting around London.

Well I hope you like this look,

Stripes & Splits

So here is the last time you'll probably see me wearing my Phillip Lim blazer or at least where it's styled in a summery look. I styled it with this oldy but a goodie Miu Miu skirt of mine to create some fluidity and then set a casual tone I wore my go-to basic tee and sneakers. I swear flats are my life at the moment, so happy that sky scraper heels aren't all that right now!

I'm excited to tell you that I am off to London tomorrow for LFW! Yay! I'm going to try and capture some street style, catch up with some blogger friends and just in general have a good time and soak up the stylish atmosphere. I have of course scheduled some posts but annoying I don't have a laptop so I wont be able to share my LFW looks with you all until I get back but in the mean time, i'll do my best to keep you updated through my Instagram and twitter, so remember to give me a little follow ;) Well I hope you all have a geed weekend and take care,

Black/White

It's black and white, it's stripy and silky, it can be worn as a light jacket or your favourite easy-chic blouse, yes of course i'm talking about my 3.1 Phillip stripy something. I love this piece and with it not being long until the weather takes a chillier turn, i'm already thinking of ways I can incorporate it into my Autumn/Winter wardrobe because my lovelies, I simply can not imagine my little stylish world without it.

But for now, whilst the temps are still up, wearing the jacket as a pyjama-esque blouse, with my midi skirt and sandals, perfectly reflects my effort-less state of mind. I have to say I did enjoy rekindling my love affair with these round frame sunglasses, it's been a while my Chanel lovelies!

Well I hope you all like the look and thank you for reading.
