Lil MissTweed

Hi everyone,
I've really been into classic heritage pieces recently and I know why, as I always start to feel like this at the beginning of autumn, there is just something about it that makes me want to get all the tweed pieces I own out of my wardrobe and wear them with other autumn classics. Guess it makes me feel all warm and cosy inside.
Though at the same time, of course the modern more current side of me fights to get it's way and to stop them arguing I have to find a middle ground and I guess this is how it ends up looking. Now I know you're probably thinking there aren't actually any pieces here that you would call "modern" but it's more about how the pieces are styled rather then the pieces themselves. So for instance I thought you can't go wrong with a classic blue shirt teamed with a tweed skirt but to give that combination a bit of a current edge I went with a cropped style shirt and belted my skirt in place to create a mini. Now I also hear you thinking, really a crop top and a mini skirt?! But the saving grace is that I wore an extra long grey cardigan and a pair of low ladylike heels, then with my Chanel worn in the ever so cool and current way of across the body. Throw on a wool wide brim hat and TaDa balance is restored.
What do you think of my Autumn ensemble? Well I hope the answer is you like this look and thank you of any comments. Take care,
Daniella xox
